We are looking at doing a land tour before the cruise arriving at Whittier on the train from Denali. I see reports of people arriving anywhere from 6-7:30 pm. We typically choose the early set dining time on our cruises. How does early set dining work on embarkation day with arriving so late? Do we need to plan on eating at the buffet or possibly making a late reservation at a specialty restaurant?

I just want to leave a quick review of using valet at Tampa. We sailed out of terminal 3. I decided to use valet this time. It was well worth the extra 20 dollars to us. It was also an extra 5 dollars for booking on line. We drove into the drop off area and asked the gentleman directing traffic where to go for valet. He asked if we had prepaid as that was all they were taking. The valet drop off line was to the left. I pulled up and the valet and porter were just finishing up with the car in front of us. My husband got the checked bags for the porter while I showed my receipt to the valet, got our claim ticket and handed over my key fob. We were quickly on our way to the terminal. Getting off was just as quick and easy. We found a porter and our bags.. He showed us the way to customs and then to the valet desk. It is just outside and to the right of the area where you pick up your bags. I gave the valet my claim ticket and we were packed up and on our way in 5 minutes. It was a good experience for us and I will utilize valet again if we sail out of Tampa.

The elevators were never crowded so it doesn't seem that they would need additional elevators. Maybe, like some suggested, they may be extending a bank or just adding some between a couple of floors. I also just remembered Frankie said they would be adding a lift for one of the pools to help those with mobility issues.

Just off the Pride a week ago. Frankie was asked what the dry dock would entail. This is what I recall. New paint job General maintenance 2 story nightclub being reduced to 1 level. The bottom level will be a dedicated chef's table area. They are adding some cabins but I don't recall if it was in the nightclub area or some where else. The most interesting change was another bank of elevators. Frankie wasn't sure where that was going.

What playlist shows were on the Pride?
