  1. Let's give this a break. We have "Beat the Dead Horse to Death"! We need to move on and learn from our mistakes. I still recommend the Casino option to cash out leftover OBC. Put $100 on your account and play $5 on the Slots. Cash out whatever you have at the end -- never less than $95 sometimes more than $100... I don't mind giving the cruise line $5 of the Free Money they provided to me!
  2. I usually take $100 at a time out and play $5 on the slots. Cashing in whatever is left. Sometimes I get $95 and other times more. Onetime I got almost $300! Never been locked out or banned!
  3. "Not the only one" is not a good defense for not paying attention to the rules and processes. You are in a marginalized group of cruisers - certainly not representative of the majority. The cruise line is not in the wrong. They openly publicise the policy and cannot be held accountable for the few that don't bother to read the policy and complain after the fact. The cruise line has no obligation to make an exception to their policy to accommodate cruisers that are to busy to read what the program is and how it works.
  4. Yes, if those alienated are the few that don't bother to check rules and procedures. Nonrefundable OBC is "FREE" Money, not something that you deposited into your account. Yours is the only complaint I have heard, about how the Cruise line runs their OBC program. Most cruisers know how to work the program and make certain to use the funds before disembarkation. If cruise lines start getting inundated with complaints on how the free money was treated, they may decide to do away with the program! My recommendation: Let this be a lesson, quit complaining, and do it correct the next time!
  5. Business sense call for Princess to use the Refundable funds first and the nonrefundable last. It's your responsibility to ensure all funds are used. Try buying Casino Credits and cashing them out for dollars! I do it on every cruise... I would rather end up with charges to my Credit Card than leave funds in a nonrefundable account!
  6. I posted a video that walks you through the uploading process. As to where the fault lies - if brokers don't allow access, Stockperks needs to provide instructions for an alternate method for submitting the data. Following is an email I received from Stockperks (sounds like it is their fault). We periodically face connection issues with Plaid that can cause errors like this. The second way we can validate your ownership is by uploading an image of your portfolio through the app as follows: Please see video I posted (How to upload portfolio to Stockperks)
  7. Stockperks sent me a video about how to use the app. In the video, it shows how to upload your stock info and also explains the process for after it is uploaded.
  8. I uploaded a pdf immediately after getting the response about the connection issue. Waiting to see if that works. However, I would like to see the app work in the correct manner. If Stockperks is supposed to provide a service it needs to be a working service!
  9. I received the following email from Princess: Thank you for your request for an onboard credit as part of the Carnival Corp & plc. Shareholder Benefit Program. Carnival Corp is implementing a more automated onboard credit request process in partnership with Stockperks for thing booking. Please go to www.stockperks.com/carnivalcorp for all details about the program and how to apply for your onboard credit via the Stockperks app. I downloaded the Stockperks app, completed all the information requested and received the following message: "Couldn't connect to your institution" I sent a message to Princess and to Stockperks asking for advice... Waiting for a response!
  10. Hello TxTeach79 and greeting from Katy, Texas! My wife and I along with four other couples will be on the Regal for her New Years cruise. The ship departs Galveston in 38 days! I am trying to find some informationand thought perhaps you could give me the answers... I am looking for the names of the Regal's Executive Chef and Director of Restaurant Operations. It may be John Convery and Nicola Furlon but, I am not 100% certain. I will appreciate your response. Dean (Dino) McBride - December Regal Cruiser Cabin M327
  11. The domain "Cruise-ships.com" is for sale.... I guess they did not succeed with their Cruising Profile program and went "out of business"! I guess I will have to be satisfied with being a Captain for life!
  12. WHY DO SOME OF MY TRAVEL COMPANIONS HAVE A CHECKMARK BY THEIR PHOTOS AND OTHERS DO NOT HAVE A CHECKMARK?
  13. How do I update (edit) My Cruising Profile? It's out of date on all categories!
