Just to be safe...I called and had names changed to match passports. Rep said, he thought it was more of a concern for people flying but agreed...better safe than sorry.

Looks like they ARE continuing with the lawsuit against Royal.
Attorney Michael Winkleman said in a statement that the child’s death was “a tragic accident,” and that the family, who is from the northern Indiana community of Granger, will be filing a lawsuit against Royal Caribbean “very soon.”
Winkleman has said that Chloe fell through an open 11th-story window on July 7 after she had asked her grandfather to lift her up so she could bang on the glass in a children’s play area. He’s blamed the cruise ship operator for leaving the window open.
“These criminal charges are pouring salt on the open wounds of this grieving family. Clearly this was a tragic accident and the family’s singular goal remains for something like this to never happen again,” Winkleman said in his news release.
“Had the cruise lines simply followed proper safety guidelines for windows, this accident likely would never have happened.”

The outcome does not surprise me. I am curious to see if the family still pursues the suit against Royal.

Bob...I really can't say...I only know that when I do sail solo I have always just paid for me. I really do not know their policy, though there has been some discussion on CC about it not being across the board for all CAS levels, etc. .

NCL seems to be having lots of problems with the site ! As I posted last week, sporadically as I signed in, my final payment due kept changing for NO reason.

IIRC, the fine print on the shareholder benefit form says something about not getting the full benefit, in certain condition's, such as special reduced fares...
I book with CAS , with a discount and no solo supplement ...so in essence, I am not paying full fare.

I have sailed solo and received 100% of benefit.

I have stayed on board a few times at this port. I love to watch the port loading activity and just relax on an almost empty ship !!!!

Yes--as I recall , last time a made a reservation they asked me (for the first time) if there were any dietary or other needs. She added distilled water to my account and said I did not have to contact access desk.

Yes...as above for water request..but it is best to bring your own extension cord, as they are not always available onboard !!!

Just looked at my cruise booked for 2020....noticed my balance due was over 1000 more than should be 😧 Happened this AM also...
Can be kind of scary at first glance ! I like it better when it goes back to what it should be....😉

Update...I just now checked by confirmation again AND (bummer!!!!) when they checked for extra point ( and added it ? as Latitudes now does appear on confirmation)...THEY took off my double excursion credit !!!!!!!!!! I called and only way I could get it put back was to pay extra $50 increase fare.😧

In MY case..got the email confirmation..but no code (as stated above). I already and still have "LATVIP"..does that cover "Lattitudes" for extra points?

Called CAS today re: existing reservation. They said no problem adding "insider" points. Just got email confirmation, but it does NOT have Lattitudes code. (but price down a tiny bit///taxes were lower!!!)
I hate to call back again and ask about Code...I was on hold for so very long 🙁

Whatever they call it, they can keep it !! Had it on my last cruise...worst thing ever...totally undercooked and greasy.
