  1. We did the blue line to the centre of the city, volunteers were very helpful and wonderful. We even walked to the golden zone alone the waterfront. First of the ship we did the brewery tour, walked to the brewery, got in early, then walked back towards the ship, where we joined the blue line. Everyone (Canadians) snowbirds were wonderful. We did feel safe everywhere we went.

It for us was a safe as any big city in Canada or the U.S.

  2. We just returned from a Mexican cruise, you can walk to downtown P.V. just cross the big street outside the port to the other side and follow the water was about 1k walk. We enjoyed our walk, took the local bus back to the Walmart across street from the pier. Caught it behind the church in the centre of town.

Mazaltlan, we followed the blue line into the city centre and visited the church and market behind it. A lot of helpful people in blue shirts with maps and idea to make your visit special. We then continued on to the ocean boardwalk and followed it around to the golden zone, lovely walk, in total we walked over 10 k

Cobo, we walked and saw the pier area and highlights, took a local bus up into some of the new area.

  3. We were on the same cruise as you. for your information, some snowbirds use

Princess as a way to get to there winter residences. They can move more items down and get special permission to leave the ship early. They will rejoin a ship later in the season, going north. It takes permission from the cruise line, the agents at the port to do this. No, one was lost on this cruise. As for the couple that was late in Cobo, they were found in a waterfront bar, by the local agent. They got a local tender to rush them back to the ship as they the agents did not want to have to help them get back to the States. We did not feel that ship rock and rolled, but will agree that some motion was felt the last night, though they didn't drain the pool, which they do when motion is really bad.

Glad you had a good time.

  4. This was our fourth cruise on the crown this year and has to be our worst of the group. Our stateroom was next door to the one we had in May. It was

not clean on arrival. We took out our wipes and clean it down. We found

paper in another language, one bar bell in the stateroom. The cabin attendant had excuses for the mess, and did an okay job for the week.

Food, was not good. The dinning room served food that was cold, my hot dish was served with the top hot even melted. We ate there once, two nights in the crown grill one night great, second night the fish wasn't cooked, was not white and flaky ,two days off the ship late lunch, one night at the salty dog -don't waste your money. The computer system did not work well. It was worst than before. It would not even work in port. The FCC took to the phone

to complete a booking. Crew was still changing over, so that they could go home for the holidays. The ship was decorated for the Christmas holiday, so if you celebrate this holiday it looked nice. Activities were none or it seemed, other than a seminar ? to sell you something. Few movies on the t.v. and most channels, again trying to sell you something. This staff on the ship did not seem very motived or happy. The captain did not make announcements into the cabin, but the art person did every day. We have a couple of cruises scheduled with princess and then we will move on to a non carnival product.

  5. San Pedro is slow to board. First, the ship has to be totally clear of pax, and all crew accounted for. At 11:30 the begin the back to back pax. At 12:00

they start with the suite and elite pax. I am not sure if other groups have a special boarding, but when you registrar, you will get a number and that will be the group that you will board with. San Pedro is not a pleasant place to sit and wait. It is oft times a long wait.
