  1. About 10 years ago we took a fast ferry to a port in Morocco. Walked across the border into Spain. Has anyone done this lately? We will be spending three

visits to this port, and want to do something else. Also any suggestion, we have been to Gibraltar eight times and have done the usual tourist things.

    Suggestions welcomed.

  2. Note, if you are flying a foreign carrier out of the US you will not get a

green check to get thru TSA. The carrier has to be US based or Canadian.

The first class lines still have you take out all your things and shoes off in the US. Oh well, we still loved the passes.

  3. We booked and paid months ago for our flights. Thanks to a Delta agent

who, gave me the heads up that one of our flight segments had not been

paid (Princess)and ticketed. We had called Delta about a meal issue. The flight from Europe to the U S had not been ticketed. After a phone call to Princess on hold, for over 30 minutes it was confirmed that they had forgot that segment. It was ticked and now we are good to go. It can't image being on the cruise or at the airport and finding out that Princess hadn't completed the ticking. Flights begin within 30 days. We have used easy air many

times, and this is the first time this has every happened. We will now carefully

check any easy air ticket from now on.

  4. Across the street outside the port and up the first block is

a grocery store. Look for it as it is in the ground floor of a building of apts.. All

the crew members shop there for their necessities. Have good

greek wine in a box, cokes, beer. I am sorry but I don't

remember the stores name, but it part of a big food store chain in

    Greece.

  5. You might try Butler Bus tours, they do a day tour from the port, to the Castle. We got there before all the tour buses from the ship. Lovely grounds,

also the Barney Woolen Mill is across the parking lot. Tour did a drive by tour

of Cobb, and they on to Kinsele, sp a fort and a lovely town. On the return we did a tour to a church and drive around Cobb.

  6. We just renewed our Goes card. It is the best investment we have made.

The international travel has saved us hours alone at all airports in the US and it makes travel to and from Canada much easier. Love the pre check with shoes, left on, liquids, computers in cases. It beats the first class line at tsa.

  7. You will have to climb a few stairs to the tracks. This is a very easy trip to

do. The bus, just outside the train station, down is easy to catch. There is an information booth at the station. They will tell you where to catch to bus, to the main tourist site, like the palace. There is a great chocolate place near the bus stop there, very high quality chocolates. One has to walk several blocks to the palace, or cathedral or the aquarium, very small blocks and easily done. Taking the bus in the other direction will take you by the casino.

  8. This is a great cruise to see the Southern end of South America. If you are really interested in Antarctica suggest you fly to Ushuaia, where you can take a cruise out of there to Antarctica , with zodiac landing easy to arrange, as we did a Russia trawler . We have also done this South America cruise 5 times plus the last two in 2010, and 2011 on Princess that went to Antarctica. It is a wonderful place. Very magical. Loved reading this review as it brings back so many great memories of special places. Also another vote for Patrick, what a hoot.

  9. cruisequeen4ever. Say sorry to hear that they are not having a great

trip. Do hope that it gets better for them. I was wondering why they

weren't in Catalina yesterday. I know that they were looking forward to it. Hope the trip to the winery turned out okay.

Say hi to P/J from Las Vegas. We had really bad winds yesterday also, with a little rain.
