Have you (or anyone else who has received a bidding E-mail) compared the minimum bid price to what it would have cost to have booked that higher category in the first place?
I did a comparison before I bid.
Currently standard balcony and we bid on clubclass mini.
Balcony with princess plus $1323 p/p and club class mini with princess plus $2113
Made low ball bid of $300 p/p. At this time cruise still shows one forward club class available.
Offers were : CC premium mini $315, CC forward mini $290, Mini $185
Premium deluxe Balcony $70 , Deluxe balcony $40

I was wondering if they would offer upgrades to those who had booked using a casino comp. There wasn't anything in the FAQs about it and I guess it didn't take long to find out the answer to that question. My only concern would be if this turns out to be one of those changes that accidentally cancels the reservation like other changes such as adding EZAir yourself would. The casino isn't paying their share until 7 days prior to embarkation these days so that would be my concern about taking one of these offers.
when i did my bid, it came back that i would be notified up to 3 days before sailing if accepted.
casino pays 7- 14 days before cruise most times.
I will keep an eye on this as well as we do not want to loose this cruise as it is a Prestige tournament cruise.
I bid way low so not thinking they will accept my low bid.
Thank you for your concern and bringing that to my attention.....we will be staying on top of this till we sail.

Got a email to upgrade my cabin yesterday for my Oct 15 Enchantment cruise. I am sailing solo so won't bid because I would have to pay double...I have a mid-ship Baha BB class and like the location...I was thinking of bidding for a room with a couch but am not willing to sacrifice location to a bad one of under buffet pool ect...although tempted by the Premium Deluxe as its only $70.00 pp entry bid...I'm on a comped casino cruise so I havn't paid much to start but will probable play and lose alot so have to consider that cost before bidding if I decide to 🙂
we are on the cruise after you....also casino comped....bid the lowest bid for club class mini.
currently in Balcony deck 17. Happy to stay there....but would enjoy the club class mini.

We have some Casino Freeplay on an upcoming cruise. It will be our first post-covid cruise, and we have not had any Casino Freeplay on our previous cruises (although we do play the slots in the casino almost nightly). We don't understand how it works. We only play the slot machines. After we log in to our casino account on a slot machine, I assume our "bank" will show our Freeplay. Will we be able to receive any cash (winnings) from our Freeplay? Should we cash out every day we play, or should we wait until we have played all of our Freeplay? Will we be able to tell what amount in our "bank" is Freeplay and what amount is cash or winnings? Any help would be appreciated.
bronzey 214 gave great explanation.
You do not accumulation points on pure freeplay money.
Your account will show availabe free play moneyt and money in your bank.
Enjoy your freeplay.
I usually cash out to real bank when I win something and save that to play later and build points.

Can I play at the tables in the casino by handing them my medallion nightly or must I bring cash ? Or can I send money to the casino/onboard account beforehand from home ?
yes, you can use your medallion to charge casino play to your on board account when you play at the tables.

Do you think they will be offering the breakfast, at least? I can’t seem to order it on my personalizer.
I hope they do as it would come all at once like room service delivery. I think it runs about $45-50 and you get a small bottle of champagne. 375ml. You can customize it...we ordered omelets and left some things off. It's a lot of food. We ordered double fruit. Toast, I think it comes with tomato quiche (I thought was yummy) we left off salmon and capers.

We got charged the difference only plus 18% gratuity. On our January cruise the difference was a little over $3 - on the cruise this month it was 5.90 a glass
thanks for the clarification.
we sailed in Jan and that is how we were charged. Mostly wine was only about a $1 upcharge plus 18% grat. Must be more wines over $12 limit now, but still worth the charge.

If you booked prior to the Premier program and booked a Plus fare, you will get the Plus drink package. We sailed just after the program started and it was the Plus fare - we got charged for drinks over the covered price. The only thing not covered were the wines and the bartenders indicated that the wine prices had increased recently.
did you get charged the difference in the drinks over $12 or did you get charged for the whole drink?
please explain about the wines....did you get charged for the glass of wine, full price if over $12 or just the difference. Did you buy full bottles of wine or glasses.
Just trying to clarify.

Thanks for your response. We have one of those large angled balconies for our Discovery cruise in September. We’re hoping the Ultimate Balcony Dinner will be offered by then as it’s something I’ve always wanted to try.
If we can’t get a larger table, we’ll use your tricks, and for sure I’ll be asking for a tablecloth. What a great idea to dress up the table a bit.
Pre covid...we arranged for ultimate balcony dining several times. It always came with a table cloth, and dining staff brought this table when they set it for dining.
This was our set up the evening we left Genoa.
Hope you are able to enjoy this wonderful experience.
if not try the ultimate balcony breakfast.

Instead of calling Princess and booking my cruise with them on the phone, if I choose to use a Princess CVP, can I still call Princess for assistance if I can't get a hold of my CVP and would like assistance ASAP? For example, want to change my cabin to a different cabin or take advantage of a 2-day sale, etc.)? I know if I booked through an outside TA, Princess will not assist me at all; so just curious if that is the same situation using Princess CVP?
Yes you can call princess and talk to whoever answers phone to change cabins...if you can't get through to your CVP

We are fine. Jon is sick… but it is not serious. I am waiting. There is very little hope that I will escape this. We are newlyweds. We are joined at the hip. And truth be told, there is no one in the whole world I would rather do this with.
well we are old weds...54 years and we are still joined at the hip and he is also my person....had he caught covid on our 21 day cruise....I too would have chosen to quarantine with him
we were tested weekly
hope you remain negative and Jon has only minor symptoms....best of luck with the rental

Just read the fine print as others have suggested. Some offers are specific to dates.
Many of my offers are up to 3 free cabins per brochure. Free play only applies to one booking.
remember all fees ( port and deposit ) must be paid at time of booking and insurance if you choose. Air fare if you choose EZair has to be booked through casino dept as well or you will loose booking, and must be paid at time of air booking.

we had two casino offered free cruises in Jan 2022. I booked them as B2B. Casino did not pay until week before on second cruise. I called each time an email was recived to vefify that both cruises were secured.
Have casino cruise booked with room free for future. Paid all our fees, port, insurance and upgrade cabin. Received email a week before final payment due for normal booking that cruise was paid in full by casino. I did call casino to verify that booking was paid.
I would advise to look at email. If it shows no payment due, that means that casino has paid their portion. Remember to not make any changes to booking unless you go through casino as that will void booking.
Enjoy your free cabin or we say earned cruise!
