They were in our cabin on Sky in October in the UK.
Left them behind - far too big to carry around.
must be something new , with drink package in the past we have not received tumblers.
-
My Princessa vacation planner said it was best to book each segment separately even if they are linked as B2B so each segment is linked to individual reservations.
Price each way usually comes out to same price as round trip.

Thanks Wowzz my hubby and I have the plus but at 78 and 91 they won't drink anything other than tea or coffee, we had already booked the window suite and I've now booked them into a vista suite so if they want a drink hopefully they'll still do the happy hour in the suite lounge. I struggled to convince them to book a suite but was worried a deluxe balcony would be a bit tight on space for them
They will receive a mini bar set up for being in a full suite, as well as you for the window suite. You will both be able to go to Sabatini's for breakfast and they can have mimosas. You could share your minibar set up with them. You will both have club class dining as well. Enjoy your cruise.

Just booked L101 on Majestic Princess for 9/16/2023 Alaska cruise (r/t from Vancouver).
There's a fantastic video online of this cabin from 2017 (Royal Princess) that sold me. Looks like paradise, and is $1000 less than a comparable Deluxe Balcony on the "hump" for this sailing.
Now begins 2 years' worth of obsessing over this cabin! 😄You will love this cabin. Balcony is so large and being able to see as you enter the glacier in Alaska will be awesome.
We have sailed in this cabin several times as well as M108.
We sailed into Portugal during the early morning sunrise as the city slowly came to life and the view was incredible. Gibraltar as we sailed into the pier was another breathtaking site.
Enjoy your cruise!

A year ago today.....we were doing a turn around day on the Sky. Beautiful ship.
-
UBD is an awesome experience. we did one as we cruised college fjords in Alaska and again as we sailed out of Genoa leaving at 9PM.

I've never had them give me cash. It was always on my players care. Usually you have to go to the cashier to get it loaded onto your card. Once you cash out of your machine, your winnings go back on your card. To actually cash out, you have to go to the cashier.
On our cruise last august 2019, to Alaska...we received our free play money in cash ( Grand Princess). First time in a long long time to receive cash. Usually it gets loaded to our card.

aThanks for the reassuring responses!! Can’t wait to check out the new family area. That and the availability of the family suite are our reasons for booking this cruises. Trying to sail with my grandparents who prefer princess and dancing in the wheelhouse bar!
Still would love any feedback on the family suite if it’s out there!
we were in a family suite on the Crown this past spring.
It is a combo of inside cabin and mini suite.
You will have all the suite amenities …..Sabatini for breakfast and club class dining for lunch ( on sea days) and dinner. If your grandparents did not book a suite or club class cabin they will not be able to eat with you unless you eat in main dining or fixed siting.
There are two separate entrances to cabins. Inside has 4 bunk beds with shower. Nice shared sitting area with 2 large love seats that lead to balcony. There is a door that closes from sitting area for inside.
Mini has tub and open to shared sitting area.

OMG Carmen is the best! I sure hope she is on when we sail in November.
Carmen is on the Crown now.....should be there when you sail

we were just on the Grand to Alaska...10 days.
Purchased 7 day gold package.
Bottles up to $45 included. You receive a punch card the size of a business card.
The 18 % gratuity is charged at purchase.
Any bottle over the $45 you only pay the additional charge. we bought several over the $45 limit.
Bottles can only be purchased in the dining room. We bought champagne during one lunch.
Interesting system. If the bottle is over $45 they charge you the full price when purchased....then the next day a $45 credit goes on bill.
It worked out great for us. We enjoyed some new wines.
Sure some one will correct me but believe the cruise needs to be 10 days or more to buy the card.

We did a 27 TA with British Isles this past spring. No issues for us....but then again anytime on a cruise is better than a day at work.
Staff were friendly, dining room wait staff were excellent.
Food overall was good....some days OK.
Ship is not new and does show some age.
Vines bar is wonderful with excellent staff (if Carmen is there, she is the best)
Sailed on the Crown 11 times thus far.....with 2 more schedules .

By not using the oldest purchase they could be hoping it hits the 180 day expiration before you can use it.
Please let Princess Customer Services know of your experience. Their email address is customerrelations@princesscruises.com
They will pass your email on to the department that is the liaison with Barclays.
You can also email Barclays employee Rachael Mortensen to state your case at rmortensen@barclaycardus.com
Barclay Rewards Customer Service Manager phone number 1-866-928-3106
The only response I have gotten from Barclays has been a message on my account page. They said they really want to give great service and they reviewed my account and see that I have 3 transactions with Princess Passage that I can redeem against. Of course those are all small transactions that only get a 1% redemption rate. I replied back and told them to review my statements for January through the current one for July and they will see 6 transactions with Princess Passage that qualify for the 2% redemption rate.
update on statement credit:
Made several email contacts to Princess and yesterday checked account again.
All my Princess purchases since January including two purchases over $4001 are now showing up in "purchases available for redemption"
Thanks again "nukesubsailor" for you help.
Also hope, that others have had this mess straighten out and redemption purchases reinstated ….

Not all transactions are missing. Just the 6 transactions over $4001.
nukesubsailor……...please let me know the outcome.
All my Princess eligible transactions are gone and I called Princess Rewards Center and got no where, asked to speak to a supervisor and still no answer. They will look into my transactions.
I made a redemption on 5/20/2019 for a statement credit and according to the supervisor they used my most recent purchase over $4001, instead of the one I had chosen that was older.
Wishing you better luck

I just checked my account and all my Princess transactions are missing.
Please let me know your outcome NUKESUBSAILOR

YWe are back on board for another week.
Our bar service on deck 5 and 7 has been outstanding. Sometimes the bars are busy due to time of day....but we are always recognized when we sit and shortly have our drinks. Vines bar has Ariel and Yaro.
Yes there have been some shortage of certain liquors......it is a supply chain issue. We understand that one of Princess suppliers went bankrupt during the worst of Covid.
We are grateful to be on a cruise ship again after such a long break.....feeling safe with all the safety precautions. Bon voyage....
