We are doing a 12 day cruisetour to Alaska September 7, 2020.  We had a mid ship balcony then I changed to L108 and then finally M108.  Someone must have cancelled as it showed book since last year.  Called the big box store and they moved me right to it.  Super excited!

It  will be  wonderful to  view  the  glaciers.  The  balcony is so massive.

Those  two  cabins M107 /108  do  book  quickly.

Also  you  will have  club  class  dining ,  something  we  have  enjoyed.

we  were  able to  snag  this  cabin before  club  class  was introduced.

  2.

originally last  year we had  booked the  TA plus  the  British  Isles  cruise , with  a  balcony  for  the  TA  and  an  aft  balcony for  the  British  Isles.  We  then  decided  to  switch  to  obstructed   Oceanview cabins saving   us   $4000 total  (not  really  obstructed,  but   aft  part  of  deck  8)).   Many  different  promotions  for  this B2B  cruise happened  before final  payment.  Some  with  more  OBC  and some  with  free gratuities.  Many  cabin  changes  to  finally  get  us  the  some  obstructed  ocean view  for  the  27  days just  before  final payment.

Then we   received  the  email offer  to take  an  upsell  to  a  balcony.   Willing  to  change  cabins for  the   British  Isles part.

Called  and  left  message.  Received  call  back  and  discussed  that we  were doing   a  B2B.  Took  offer for  TA  and  about  an  hour  later received   second  call  that  the  offer was also being  applied  to  our British  Isles  cruise as  well.  We  were  able  to  get the  same   aft  balcony  for  the  full 27 days.  Best  deal in our  opinion,  total cost was less  than $700 extra for both  of  us.

  3. on  upsell offers....you get  notice  or  TA  does....you  call  and never  get a  person.....you leave  your message....they  will  usually  call you  back with in  several hours if  message  is received early  in  the  day....if  you  receive notice  in  evening....call  is  returned next morning  based  on Pacific  coast time

We are on the Royal this year and the Sky next year.  Yes, it does answer my questions.  I understand now.  This is very nice.  Thank  you.  Looks like we are moving over to Princess.

    Thank you both.

we  really loved  the breakfast in  Sabatini's.  Many  choices  and  you  can  request other  things  not  on  the  menu  and they will  have  it  the  next  day.  My  favorite  is  steak  and  eggs  and  they   just  need  a  days  notice.  On  the Royal Sabatini's is  on  deck 5  behind  the   Vines  bar.  The   staff is so  accommodating and  will  learn  your  preferences   quickly.  We  think  this  is  one  of  the  best full  suite  perks.

Hi, we are new to Princess  We have a suite booked for This summer.  Is the breakfast in the main dinning room ( club clas)  or Sabatinis? I am a bit confused.

If  you  are  booked  in  a  full  suite  you  can   go  to  Sabatini's for  breakfast and  also  the  choice  of  club class   for  breakfast.  You  can  also dine  in club  class  for lunch  on  sea days  and dinner  each  night.

    hope  this answers your  question

How did you arrange that?  did you put all 4 voyages info on the form?  We have 4 booked and that would make it easier to do it all in one shot!

Made my own  form  similar  to printed  one.  Included name  ,  address , phone  and  email  address then listed  all  four  cruises  ( ship, booking  number  and sail  date) also  attached stock shares and  faxed , received OBC  for all four  cruises including  one  for  November  2019

  7. yes the day i get off the ship

noted. best for last sea day then. of course sabatinis may be so good i dont wanna do the in room bfast. :) have to see.

Sabatini's will be amazing....since it is a perk with your upsell.....you could just tell them to bring you the 1/2 bottle of champagne to drink in the room...and go to Sabatini's every day for breakfast.

  8. just found this thread since my upsell includes the UBB. it will be cold end of october so this will be inside the suite. loved seeing the pics and descriptions of the food.seems like done best on a sea day or the last day of the cruise.

you might want to do this the last sea day....

by the last day of the cruise , do you mean the day you get off the ship??

  9. 1st time in a suite and this comment caught my eye. wouldnt princess know you stayed in a suite and automatically give you credits. also i thought it was number of cruises or number of days that counted and there wasnt a point system.

If you book a suite from the get go...yes then 2 cruise credits for suite...…….

if you take an upsell to a suite you are also entitled to the second cruise credit for staying in a suite.....but you have to call princess after you sale to have that second cruise credit added to your captains circle info.

you get a cruise credit for each voyage you sail. If you are a solo , you receive 2 cruise credits , if you are a solo in a full suite you receive 3 cruise credits. cruise credits work toward loyalty OBC.

  10. Yes it is. When you first get on the ship, look in the patter. It should have a time and place (dining room) that the maître d' will be in to take that request. It is usually the dining room not used for embarkation lunch and time is usually around 1;30- 2 PM. You can also request chef's table wait list at that meeting time.

  11. I would hate to give up the Sip and Sail if I had it. I love dropping into Vines in the evening and being able to sit in Crooner's or Wheelhouse listening to the entertainment and having a drink without having to pay. We had two cruises under the last Sip and Sail and then watched the prices go up and up and up. Not this time.

    Thrak

last time we had the sip and sail ...we gave it up for a better casino rate and saved almost as much as the price was with the booze included....and my husband would benefit but not me I drink maybe 4 max drinks and we also get mini bar and bring our own wine.
