Yes, the price was pretty low on the 2021 cruise, it just didn't have the benefits.  We paid the price difference between the 2C and 2B, maintaining the benefits, drinks, wifi, tips, OBC.

We did a lift and shift from the Millennium to the Solstice.  We had a 2C on the Millennium.  They would lift and shift to the 2C on the Solstice.  I found out that the 2C on the Solstice is an obstructed balcony, with life boats right below the balcony.  So I opted to switch to a 2B paying about $100 more for no obstruction.  It was worth it to me.

Needless to say, we are having a great cruise despite some minor negatives. One thing we have discovered is that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and we plan to do a longer more in depth land tour here one day soon. It is somewhere everyone should experience in their life if at all possible.

Last year we spent 2 weeks in New Zealand on a land trip, renting a car and driving the North and South Island.  We were amazed at the beauty of the country and the kindness of the people.   I highly recommend a land trip, spending more time on the islands and seeing what else New Zealand has to offer.  You will love it.

On this Princessthread, I read of this 2-4 times a year where pax claims illness/injury notthat bad, but put off the ship. Not my job to document what you don't believe. Your basing your belief solely on your own personalexperience.

You do realize only a small fraction of pax reads or post to thisboard. Any cruise line does not like this type of negative publicity and attemptsto keep it quite. Some years ago had a 10 day Mexican cruise where the averageage of the pax was rather advanced. My knowledge was of two actual pax deathsand strong rumors of a third. You do know there is no actual “morgue” on acruise ship, but there are freezers where frozen foods are stored. I’m justsaying a lot of negative things happen on a cruise you never hear about.

This is not true information about the morgue. There is a morgue on every cruise ship I've been on. Bodies are not put where the frozen food is kept! :o

We joined the queue at the the point you see us outside the Fløibnanen and got to the ticketing window (at about 2.30 pm) in about 15 minutes. From there it was the 4th ride up so another 20 minutes. But this was a rainy day, I imagine it would be a longer wait in really good weather.

From a summer 2018 Norwegian fjords cruise. The constant threat of rain stopped us doing much here, specifically having a look at Bryggen and walking down from Mount Fløyen. The funicular up there cost 95 NOK return for adults, 50 for children. There is a frequent service shuttle from the dock to the edge of the city, from where it's about a 10 minute walk to the Fish Market area. All the best, Tony

How long did it take to purchase your funicular tickets and was it a long wait for the funicular?

We have cabin M715, with the outdoor eating area above us. How is the noise from that area? Is the smoking area near enough to smell the cigarettes?

Like we don’t have enough to eat from 6 am onwards.

After a night of drinking and dancing, some food is really welcome around midnight :D;)

Just off the Mariner a week or so ago. Windjammer open from 10-midnight.

The night I went there was a huge line, I waited about 15 minutes.

One station open with fajita's, nachos, burgers, sweets.

I only went one night, don't know if they change the menu.

Very popular.
