I have been having problems with X website for a while now.  Today I tried to sign and I get

    400 Bad Request

Request Header Or Cookie Too Large
i’m using an iPad.  There are some things that I can get into, but even looking at cruises brings up the above message.  I’ve tried clearing my cache, turing off the iPad …..makes no difference.  I am not talking about an app, but the X website on the internet.  Hope some techies here can help clear this up….i can’t check any sales on my next cruise.
    Bobbie

    Following along……

Have had similar problems with my IPad in last few days.  Seems to not be such a problem using my IPhone, but I need to see things on a larger screen than the phone!

I find the laundry room to be the most social venue on the ship. Yes, there have been some curmudgeons, but most people are pleasant and helpful.

Agree.  We have only had pleasant encounters there.  Been cruising Azamara since 2009.

  3. Apologies for not being up to date.  Have not sailed X since 2019 and was in AQ class then.

Looking at future sailings…..if we book a sky suite, all the wording on X web site refers to “premium alcohol”.  Do you get an included premium alcohol package that can be used at all bars or only in Retreat Lounge? Can we go to the Martini Bar, for example, and not pay extra for drinks there?

  4. I was e-mailed a link yesterday from Azamara to watch the webinar that I signed up for and forgot to watch!
I have to say…,.Dondra, you rock!  It was everything I was hoping to hear and everything as others such as @uktog described!
I am beyond impressed and hopeful for the future of Azamara under Dondra’s leadership.

Now, let’s get those wine selections worked out before we board for Christmas! 😀

  5. I apologize that I just found your thread and haven’t read every detail, but I will.  I have loved your threads in the past….and that goes way back!

Thinking of an Alaska inside passage cruise on this ship.  But…..we haven’t experienced a Neptune suite since the days of breakfast in the PG.  How does breakfast work with NS on this ship? At a table in a a section of MDR that is designated CO?

And then when we have dinner in MDR, is it in some section of CO in MDR?

Is there still fixed dining and also anytime dining?

I know…..I am way behind because we haven’t been on HAL since 2019!

  6. I called yesterday to get a shore excursion PDF e mailed to me for my upcoming cruise in Dec.  The  wait time was 5 min.  One of the reasons I wanted the PDF was because the costs of the shorex online are obviously wrong…….things such as a catamaran excursion in Antigua for $5,000 pp!

Well, the same pricing errors were on the PDF!   No help there.

I would absolutely love it if someone gave a detailed description of each thing they have their butler do for them on the average cruise. I guess I'm just lacking in imagination because I don't even know what I would ask them to do for me.

See my post #49 in this thread.  I detailed what I asked butler for and asked if there was anything else I could have asked for and received no responses.

It's 20 inches wide and 14 inches high, made from the same heavy canvas Lands' End uses for their boat bags.

Azamara used to provide these bags to people in the owners suites. We knew a couple who sailed in an owners suite for several weeks at a time. On each leg, they got a new bag. They offered one to us and we were only too happy to accept. We've had it for years.

We have never been in an Owners suite!

We were in a Club Continent suite…..it was a Transatlantic.

That's interesting.  I've never heard of TA OBC being non-refundable.  Where does it go if you don't spend it - back to your TA?

It goes back to you, if refundable.  On your account.

Hardly does that ever happen with me! 😀

    I have no problem spending!
Non refundable = use it or lose it

  10. I am hopeful about the new CEO.  I hope I am not disappointed 😔

I liked Dan Hanrahan’s time at Celebrity and Dondra was well thought of there, too. Fingers crossed! 🤞

    This one perhaps? 😀

Yes!  The picture doesn’t even do it Justice!  It’s beautiful fabric, large and sturdy! It goes on every trip with us.

  12. I am seeing some crazy prices on excursions for 12/2024 cruise.

Like Catamaran trip that costs $5000 pp!

And accessible tours that cost $900 pp!
I keep checking back, but the prices have not been corrected……

Didn't happen the first 2 cruises on the Onward.

That doesn’t make it right.  The corkage fee on Azamara is very reasonable.  When I bring bottles onboard and take them to a public spot on ship, I expect to pay corkage!

I was thinking maybe I should pack one just to be safe.  I've often used one as my personal item for my flights

We have one from the early days….2008 or 2009 and it is beautiful, sturdy and large and we love it.  DH always uses that as his personal item! 😀

I just returned from two Azamara cruises (Quest Lisbon to Barcelona & Pursuit Rome to Venice). I really enjoyed the sheets on our beds and the pillows. Does anyone know the brand of each and if they can be purchased by the general public?  Now that I am back home, I miss many things from those wonderful cruises….the bedding is definitely one that I hope to replicate at home.

    Thank you.

They used to come from Standard Textile, but that was a long time ago.

You should call Azamara and ask or have your travel agent check with them.

Standard Textile is nice…..I have ordered things from them because I liked the Azamara linens.

If you have a B2B cruise, be aware that if you adjust one of the cruises, new promotion case in point, you will lose any benefits you had on both legs, even if no new promotion was added to the other leg.  Not a happy camper right now.

Are you referring to Pick Your Perk promotion on offer right now?  The T &C says it is combinable with B2B sailings.  Do you lose B2B OBC or other perks such as Experience More package?
