At the beginning of the first episode, I thought that I glimpsed Seth Aaron sitting next to Tim & Heidi. Was he part of the interview process?

He was on the panel for the Seattle auditions.

For some reason I am having trouble getting these to copy and paste today .. but here are a few pictures of Seth Aaron's new things....I really love the sundress.

 

Now.....On the Road with Santino and Austin. Is anyone else loving this show? I was laughing out loud so many time....Ausin doing the workout, Santino in the bubble bath, Austin in the birthday suit. So many funny moments but 2 who are so different are working together and coming up with some nice things for which the person they are designing.

Absolutely!! It is hilarious .. who da thought it would be as fun as it is !!

So Jason is gone ... good news there I was afraid they would keep him for the "drama".. but that was just a pitiful outfit.

If you didn't see Tim Gunn's video on facebook today .. all of the ambulances in the promos that weren't seen in the episode were for ...

first .. Tim was taken away .. then Jason .. then another designer and he couldn't remember which one. Tim has a mild form of epilepsy and he had an episode during taping so he wasn't there to tell the designer to clean out his space .. they taped that later but Jason couldn't be there so they just said he left .. interesting.

While hometown loyalty makes me want Gretchen to win .. I thought Valerie's red dress was the one to beat .. I was wrong again.

Just got back from Seth Aaron Henderson's trunk show .. cute new things .. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.

Ok .. which was worse .. Casanova's whatever that was or Anthony's nuts and bolts bikini from last season ???

I was pleasantly surprised to like all of the collections tonite .. so now it is just personality and (selfishness .. SA is a local boy .. and that means I could see more of his stuff) that makes me really happy with the results!!

You should go to the lifetime website and read Tim's blog .. her is very vocal about a couple of the designers and the editing ;)

Still hoping Seth Aaron wins ..

I thought Mila's black and white (what else) coat was wonderful once they took the cowl thing off .. Jay's stuff does not look all that flattering on the models and if that is the case I imagine how it would look on a person with a normal body . not good I imagine.

I just discovered that Seth Aaron's designs are available in a local boutique .. or at least will be soon since his last two collections are sold out. I will be watching for the next one since I find some of his work really fantastic.

i agree that Seth Aaron is the one to watch .. so that probably means he won't win .. I never seem to agree with the judges on what is great .. I didn't like Emilio's look at all ...

More intriguing though .. who do you think walked away and who will they bring back to replace him/her ?? I hope they bring Anthony back just because he is so pleasant!!

For the first time this season I absolutely loved one of the designs .. Seth Aaron's denim outfit was fabulous!!!

I'm a fan of Tim Gunn on Facebook and he thought the judges got it wrong, too (about Emilio, that is). It's fun to read his posts after the show. Just never cpmment or you'll get a gazillion email hits.

Thanks for the tip .. I am now a fan too and the video is really interesting in regard to Emilio. He never pulls many punches does he?

I gotta agree .. Emilio got away with one there .. what a horrible mess.

Pretty much all of them except Althea's .. i would love Irina's with a red sweater .. white vest and black pants... and Christopher's with a bright turqoise instead of soft blue .. and Gordana's in any Color .. perhaps sapphire or emerald ... instead of grey ..

 

 

Other than that...

Any outfits, with any fixes, that you'd wear on a cruise? I thik there are several here for various age ranges!

Why is Christopher still there??????

THe only thing I can think of is that he is Heidi' secret love child or her boy toy .. otherwise there is NO reason.

I really liked the winner for this challenge .. I liked it better when it had the feather detail at the top but I can see how that would be hard to pull off if you hadn't worked with feathers before.

I didn't think Shirin's was good but I certainly thought it was better than Christophers!!!

We have one of the 9As on deck 7 booked for the same cruise jetwet is talking about. If the cabin is that cramped we will be looking at another cabin as well. The balcony still looks great but the cabin itself is amazing .. and I don't mean that in a good way. I will be watching like a hawk for pictures of the deck 7 "aft wraps"

I didn't see a stand-out design in the entire bunch last week. The only designs I would have worn were the Carol/Shirin and probably the shirtdress since I love shirtdresses. I did not like the winner at all and I can't see anyone over a size 4 wearing those stripes without looking very "hippy".

I have a dress very much like this one in pewter that was my grandmothers !!! (much more modest back though)

I was disappointed in some of the "costumes" also but I did like the winner. I could see wearing that one.

oh oh .. I disagree with CJW ..

Make the trench coat out of a patent leather or oil cloth .. (shiny) and the newsprint and it is in my closet!! What a fun item that would be.

I liked Christopher's gown .. very clever and great execution.

Carols gown .. I don't know there was just something off about the print part of the bodice. It just didn't fit with the rest of the gown .. the skirt was fabulous.

And ..Louise's looked like she undecorated the Christmas tree in the kindergarten class for the neck portion!!

Johnny needed to go .. but I really think it is too bad he wasn't able to work the origami cranes into a design .. I really think that was clever he just did it BADLY.

And lastly .. I think Shirin is going to be one of he middle of the pack surprises.

I got totally amused by the designer that said "looks like the beginning fo the third trimester" .. I was thinking .. yep if you are having triplets. Looked way more than that on those thin models .. and I would have loved to look like that pregnant .. with no hips!!!

I thought Mitchell should have gone last week .. and this week I thought he might have pulled it out (until he admitted he didn't do anything) just because Qristyls butt out bathing suit was so badly done. Darling style suit .. too bad it didn't fit better!! I was happy to see him go.

I'm not even sure I would have to be pregnant to wear the Sirin gown .. just lovely! I would also have worn Christophers.. but back in the dark ages when I was pregnant it was all about "hiding" the bump.... nothing had any fit to it!

One thing to remember. If you want this done after a december cruise but before the end of the year for the deductible.. you should get on the schedule NOW. A lot of people want things done late in the year for that reason and it may be difficult to schedule if you wait too long.

I had a complication BEFORE the surgery when I broke my foot 10 days before.. that caused me problems.

I was able to get around just fine after about 3 days ..but I wore the surgical boot for 8 weeks. (some go longer some shorter but only about a week in either direction ). The broken toe did not heal correctly so I needed futher surgery on that.

I only had one foot done .. and I can't even imagine doing both at the same time .. but I am really glad I did and am planning to have the other done after I return from Alaska. It is worth the pain to get rid of the bunion problems !!!
