Sorry I forgot about this post, we literally waited and got off the ship and walked down to the bottom of the hill and found one of their guides. Once we got there we met Joel the new general manager and now have his contact Info. Everything was first class. I will be happy to give you his info if you want to set up your day there directly with him.

I would love to have Joel's info, to book my trip in August.  Thanks!

I am surprised to hear that and wonder if it is a stock answer, a push towards AI, or perhaps short of staff. Are you traveling soon?

The port schedule sites are never 100% and I would guess are presently even less accurate than usual so you would need to check several to get an idea of number of ships. I usually use sea scanner because it gives me ships and passenger load (also not currently accurate!). Just google Cozumel port schedules for other options.

Do you need the water toys? Otherwise lots of other options if you arrive and find they do happen to be full.

We will be in Cozumel 8/4.  Will have 2 college kids with us, and they definitely like the water toys.  I prefer PB mostly for their pool.  Thanks for the feedback.

Question?  How did you make your reservation, or did you just go there off the ship?

Good question.  I've been several times and it's my FAVORITE!  However, I'm trying to decide whether I should wait until the last minute to reserve (if negative reviews start getting posted) or try to just walk in?  Granted, if I book ahead of time, they pick us up at the port, so that's helpful!

  4. Paradise Beach emailed me the same response re: "50% capacity".  We've gone several times PAYG and I just don't know if I should chance it or not.  Can someone point me in the direction of how to find out how many ships are in port the day that I'm there?  Thanks in advance!

We just visited last week, spoke with the owner (lady) and Joel Silverman the GM, they are open fully and everything for us was great. It was a bad situation in the divorce but relax and be rest assured LFK is open just like it’s always been with no issues. Smaller crowd last week but that made it all the more enjoyable.

Thanks for the recent review.  I can't decide if I should book ahead of time, or wait until we arrive, due to the current situation.  I just can't imagine going to Roatan and NOT going to LFK.  It's one of our faves!

  6. Has anyone been to the Secret River or cenote excursions?  I'm thinking about trying a Carnival excursion for one of these, even though I typically book excursions through locals.  However, it is difficult to do so when so few people review their trips!

    Thanks for any info!

  7. We take a water taxi to Caye Caulker & use Anwar Tours.  I've done this several times, and absolutely LOVE them!  Will be doing the same excursion with them in a few months!  If anyone decides to try them, let them know that Tiffany recommended them!  They truly are amazing!

  8. Good morning!  This will be our first time visiting Curacao (2 adults, 4-18 yo's) and I'm super excited!  I typically book directly through vendors for excursions, not the ship, and would love your advice.  (Yes, I have read MANY pages on this board & others!)  Most of the time at a beach with maybe an hour to shop/look around would be my first thoughts.  My only concern is that our time in port is limited...7a-3p.  Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  9. Hi!  To date, I have been a "only tropical" cruising girl, having done about 15 of them between Disney & Carnival.  I am thinking about taking an Alaska cruise, since that's about the only place my hubby has ever wanted to cruise!  (I typically go with friends & cruise without him...)  So, I would GREATLY appreciate any advice that any of you Alaska cruisers could give me!  Which cruise line do you prefer for Alaska sailings?

    Thanks in advance!

  10. So glad you asked this question.  I have been on the fence about my July 19th sailing on Glory and the final payment is April 20.  I had hoped to pay the 2 rooms off with the use of gift cards, but I'm terrified to order them & then have to postpone the trip.  Money will be tied up in the gift cards, and would probably have a year to wait on rescheduled trip due to daughter is a student athlete in college and doesn't get the normal school breaks.  Ugh....what to do.

  11. I am interested in purchasing CCL stock, yet need some advice.  I have Disney stock at this time, and would like to maybe sell some of it to buy the minimum CCL for the OBC.  I have never bought/sold, and have NO idea what to do (the stock was a gift...).  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

  12. Saint Greg...

WOW!  I truly appreciate all of your time and advice!  I will take a look at these & try to figure something out this weekend!  Thank you SOOO very much!!

  13. Also posted this on the Gulf Coast Dep. board, hoping Saint Greg will see it...  😁

I have done my normal research (of hotel brands & the special rates I can get) for a 2 night hotel stay in NOLA in July before a cruise, and am now hoping that Saint Greg may see this and help me.  ☺️  I have only sailed out of NOLA once, and need all the help I can get!

    Hotel dates:  July 17-19, 2020

Rooms:  Preferably 1 with 2 queens & pullout sofa (we will have 6 in our party...2 adults & 4 college kids).  (Is there a way to even tell if the Priceline/bid type rooms have pullouts?)

** Will have TWO cars with us!

    Thanks for any help!

    Tiffany
