The 10 & 20 item package details both say the "item allowance must be used all together in a single delivery. Multiple deliveries are not accepted." If you put items in on Tuesday AND Thursday you used 2 packages in their eyes...
Butler said I could split the package and I did.

I was in 19027 last week and it was very noisy every night and early morning from the noise on 20..I
would ask to change rooms if I was put on 19 again. Finally caught up on sleep.

I signed up, on board, for the 20 article package. Sent 10 items on tuesday and 10 items on thursday. When I checked my charges at the concierge and saw the double charges the concierge said it was the butlers fault and she immediately called someone and said it would be fixed. That night the butler brought another laundry packege sign up slip for mr to sign and he said that would take care of the problem. Final bill had the one time $45 cost but no 15% discount, waiting for comment/survey form to add comments on laundry.

We were charged 14.50 for the last week on the Seascape.
Also found out you can order from the YC restaurant menu being served and they will call your butler to pick up and serve in your room. Used this last week as I had a swollen foot and didn't feel like going to the restaurant.

Ship arrived in Miami at 2:03 this AM. A OK and ready to go.
Sailing info is on channel4 on the TV.
On the 15 - 22 Sailing the YC was fully booked and there were over 5500 people on the rest of the ship.
After seeing 3700 and 4700 people listed with is topic I wonder what the real answer is as it was super crowded.

No added fee but good luck getting the 15 off. Nobody seemed to know diamond got the discount and when I showed them the chart with diamond discounts they were surprised and said they would take care of it. Sent laundry in two different days and was charged an additional 56 dollars. Got that straightened out but will never buy the laundry package again. Shirts and pants needed pressing after I got them back. Package deal is not like it used to be.

There are some tea bags on the Nespresso condiment shelf in your cabin. As stated above use machine with out pod and you get hot water. Did it last week and it worked fine.

Do you know what pier/dock you will be coming into tomorrow? Have to give Uber an address.

Yes..There is still a white tent. Typical MSC poor communication. They do YC very well....but anything to do with customization (pre cruise) continues to be confusing and inconsistent!
That's what I thought. Thanks for the reply.

Is there still a white tent set up at the pier for those in the Yacht Club? Just received a message from MSC saying at Terminal C
Cabins located on decks 12 to 19 use the EAST entrance. Since I am on deck 19 in the YC I am confused as we always went to the white tent.
Is this something new or just a message to everyone on boarding process?

I would love to give his name. But one has learned in life that no good deed goes unpunished.
I will be on the seascape for two weeks so I am sure I can find him as I do a lot of reading on the top deck.

This is interesting. Earlier, after hearing about this noon's seafood extravaganza we witnessed the pool attendant ask a large group sunning themselves on the YC sundeck for identification and all 10 he asked to leave. One of the 'gentlemen' offered the pool attendant money to stay. He backed away. We felt bad (for the pool attendant). DW tells me to tip him more. He confides that he can generally tell if someone belongs in the YC. Those outside YC are generally disrespectful of themselves and others. When they sneak into the YC they do not respect the rules and smoke where they please. He says YC guests respect each other and follow rules.
Would you PM his name and I will take care of him also next week. Great report and very useful.

All BTB people have to disembark, go through immigration or somebody then wait around for them to clear the ship so you can reenter. Since you are changing rooms and have the cruise docs to show it, I would go to customer service or sneak into the YC concierge and explain your situation. Someone will help you move. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.

On the Seaside we were always able to put three or four suitcases under the bed.

When I wanted the military discount about six years ago, my TA had to send a document verifying my military service. I don't remember if it was a copy of DD214 or retired ID card. I just booked and I think it was a 5% discount. I am also diamond status so I only get one discount. I suggest calling MSC direct, maybe the new concierge desk, and ask them what you need to do. Good luck.

Go to your dry cleaner and get the clothing bags they put over the finished dry cleaning. Then when you pack your clothing do so with the pressed clothing in the bags and on your own hangars. When you unpack onboard ship you will have perfectly pressed clothing wrinkle free already on hangars.
I have done this for years with good results but I am more concerned with after a weeks wear and the laundry package.

Since I am doing another BTB I am bumping this up to see if there is any new info. Hope someone who has sailed lately and used the package will reply

Maison Rose do you have any info on the laundry package? Interested in how it is done now as that used to be a real bargain.
-
Maybe your credit card company doesn't charge the FTF.
-
Make sure the credit card you have attached to your room does not have a foreign transaction fee. MSC generates credit card/cruise charges settlement costs from Italy.

I did the railroad excursion a couple of years ago. Train to Panama City and bus back to Colon.
Colon is a port city and not a tourist city. The train trip is very interesting as some of it runs alongside the canal.

What a difference from then and now. The laundry package used to be a great deal. Always did BTB and had up to 40 items for both of us laundered, pressed and hung on hangars. Sounds like i could wash in the sink and dry on the deck and get better laundry than stuffed in a bag.

We have used the discounts twice but we went through our travel agents and they took care of getting our discount. Weren't there instructions on the letter you were given that told you how to get the discount?

Norms are:
Waiter $1000
Assistant Waiter $500
Hostess $250
Musician, excellent or otherwise $125
Butler $1000
Junior Butler $500
Maitre D £250
These are averages, but many give more than that! 😉
Woww!!!!!! I thought I was a generous tipper but there is no way I would tip 3625 dollars pounds or euros for a cruise. There is a reason why we differ on tipping so I usually don't comment but this is ridiculous. Just my opinion.

Onboard laundry purchase
in MSC Cruises

That is not the package sign up form. That is the form used to send the laundry.
I don't recommend the laundry to anyone.
