Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It is customs and Immigration in the country where you are doing the Turnaround (in this case Spain) that determines whether you have to get off the ship or not. It is not the cruise lines decision. We have done this many times and it is always different. If you have to get off the ship to “clear the ship” you can then turn around and get right back on. You will be escorted by a crew member for this process.
  2. We both used a Letter of Recovery to board a Transatlantic cruise in April with no problems. The PCR test and Letter must be dated at least 11 days prior to embarkation and you must show both at check in. We were then exempt from testing for the following cruise as we were B2B. There was no quarantine or isolation on board.
  3. We both used a Letter of Recovery and positive PCR test in April when we boarded the Silhouette for a B2B……. a TA and an Eastern Med. There were no problems at all. We just showed are paperwork at the Port and they took copies of everything. We were then exempt from testing on the ship for the second of our B2B cruises. Hope this helps!
