  1. Better late than never.....photos from Falmouth where we were docked. St Ives was about an hour's drive from the port. Lovely countryside. Here are pics from St Ives..... Beautiful sunset last evening.....
  2. Indeed it does JP. We're not as sprightly as you and Chris. And we don't photograph as well either. 😅 ZQT is clean as a whistle. 😁
  3. Also, the latest info from the Captain is that there are currently no cases of COVID on the Moon! No passengers and no crew! With any luck this will continue to be the case!
  4. Late return from the St Ives excursion so we had to hustle to get ready for our Kaiseki reservation. Early departure for tomorrow's excursion. Hopefully pics from both can be uploaded tomorrow afternoon.
  5. Rough estimate of passengers is about 490 passengers. Staff as always is exceptional! Our butler is the best we've ever had over our 314 days sailing with Silversea. I'm finding the vibe is different. Folks not quite as friendly as in the before times. I blame the deterioration of our social skills due to lockdowns and fear porn around the nasty. Mostly American passengers is my guess. Sprinkling of Canucks and Germans. Myster and I take turns in the lead and when space permits shoulder to elbow (I am on the short side).
  6. I'm on it! Should be easy to spot. If he is following the pattern in evidence on the ship he will be following 7 women. Seems the men with female partners here tend to trail behind them. 😁
  7. Currently docked in Falmouth. Chilling on the pool deck. Underline the chilling bit. Sunshine with a crisp breeze. We have a 1:00 pm excursion to St Ives.
  8. Stumble you can rest easy! Myster and I travel with NO plastic figurines. Inflatable or otherwise! 😅
  9. Spectacular lightning show on offer now as we sail west along the Isle of Wight. Mist and pyrotechnics from our veranda! Awesome!
  10. Lola, please don't worry about going off piste! It is entertaining and informative! 🥰
  11. Lola we drove by the National Motor Museum. There was no mention of anything untoward with any Lord Montagu. Did not see the Abbey. And the pronunciation of the place name threw me for a loop. In Canada that would be pronounced very differently. I think JP would also agree! 😅
  12. Photos from Buckler's Hard Village on the Beaulieu River.... I'm experimenting with the size of the photos to see if I can post portrait. No joy. Limited now to landscape shots. Apologies! We arrived back on the Moon around 1:15 pm, Suite was ready. We headed to the Pool deck for lunch.
  13. In about 50ish days (if the gods and goddesses smile kindly) Myster and I will sail out of Lisbon on the Silver-y Moon on May 6, 2022 and be dropped off in Stockholm on June 28, 2022. As most members are aware the Roll Call for Silversea cruises is like a barren wasteland. Very few people actually use it. This is not a Roll Call! This is an invitation for folks on any or all of the segments on this voyage to chime in. Questions, comments, asides are welcome. When the cruise actually begins I'm hoping this can be a group blog for all who want to share their experiences on this journey. We did this for the World Cruise 2019 with wonderful participation. Looking forward to hearing from you!
