So to anyone who might want the "full details" of this place, my portion of LFK is completed on my review over on the Carnival board.
You can find it here and it starts at post #250 and goes on until around post #349. Yep, it's long and there is a lot of details in it. It is very picture heavy as well.
Let me know if you have any questions. :)
I love reading your reviews.... (We are doing many of the same excursions you have done)
It's wonderful that we can go to the same place but have different likes/dislikes.... ( I loved the food...) We can't tell people what they should do... just share our experiences and have them judge for themselves :)
I hope folks who see your pictures notice the EMPTY chairs at LFK :D
Thank you for all your detail...

They control who comes over to the Key. While we were there a couple of people just paid to come over. They then decided that they wanted to eat. They knew exactly who had paid and who didn't. They made the folks pay to eat.
All guests are given arm bands. They are different colors depending on the package you get.
I agree to email and ask what is included :-)
Hope you enjoy your cruise no matter what you chose to do!

We used Premier Parking Deck earlier in April. Everything pre-cruise was great :-)
Post Cruise: We had to wait 30 minutes to get picked up. I called after 20 minutes per the instructions and they told me the last van was there at 0901 and it was returning.
I found several other people waiting for the van. Another guest had also called and was told that the van was there at 0851. (hmmm)
The van had arrived shortly (10 minutes) after I called but could not fit everyone who was waiting.
My 2012 Civic was in great shape and I would used premier again BUT I will not wait 20 minutes again before I call to get picked up.
It seems to me that they wait until several people call before they come for a pick up

I ended up emailing them and they said they did not have wifi on the island. They do have it at the restaurant though, but that's not going to do much good I suppose. You don't spend any amount of time there prior to going to the island or coming back do you?
The boat goes back and forth frequently. If you needed the wi-fi you could go to the restaurant and then come back.
If we had done that, we would have been the only one there in the restaurant. You would have to know about Little French Key and Frenchy's to find it. It is not on a main road.

Awesome. I know some where reporting there for awhile that they were adding to their bill a certain percentage (using cash) which I thought was weird. Maybe they stopped doing this. :)

Thanks for the reply and your thoughts. I'm getting excited. We always bring tons of ones, so that won't be a problem. I do have a question though. Others have mentioned that they charge a really high "tax" rate on their food/drinks when you buy them. But, you mentioned you were able to only give them $1 for a soda because they didn't have change. Did they not charge you tax on your drinks or food when you ordered the chips and salsa?
They did not charge tax. They do charge a service charge (12% ) for using a credit card.

We just returned from LFK.
It was great and food was awesome!
There is plenty of space to decided if you want shade or sun, to be alone or visit with other guests.
They ask you to what time you want to leave and the boat travels back and forth frequently so if you wanted to leave earlier there should not be a problem.
One suggestion is to bring exact change and lots of one. This is a mom $ pop operation and sometimes they do not have change. My husband wanted a coke ($2) and had a one and a five. They sold the coke for $1 since they didn't have change.
The food is not all you can eat but you can buy more if you would like. I really enjoyed the chips and salsa. ($7 for an order)

Just added the classic package to my reservation for a five night on the Constellation in April.
I had booked through Celebrity over the phone. I did lose my $100 teachers discount and paid the difference in price since the cruise had gone up $9 pp.
Net cost to me was $118. Not bad.
Teachers discount???

I love reading your reviews, you do an awesome job.
Questions about the cavetubing:
Did you have A/C this time?
What type of shoes did you wear and did they protect you from the rocks on the little hike?
