My turn!

We are both older obviously by our picture. We got engaged on the MSC Seaside,9/18.

We decided to get married in Miami outside venue with the ocean as a backdrop and a Caribbean theme.  All flowers are Tropical and the aisle will be lined with conch shells with flowers in them. My fiancé is wearing a navy tux with blue jacquard hibiscus on the jacket. He loved it as soon as he saw it, who am I to tell him otherwise.

Ill be more traditional but champagne color dress. Our cake will be vanilla with mango filing. The music playing while people talking and hanging out will be Caribbean style.

Our couple dance will be a Zac Brown Caribbean song called Where the Boat Leaves and we will be dancing the merengue.

We have family and friends going to the wedding and then on a cruise to the Caribbean for 3 days on the MSC Divina the Yacht Club area. We will remain on the ship for another 7 days.

Its going to be fun.

It looks like in pictures, on deck 15 and 16 the balconies are solid metal walls instead of glass.

Is that so or maybe someone is using the same picture for both.  I have 15003 Starboard and there is a 16003 Aft and wondering if I should change. 

Trying to find out if any advantage to move at all.  This will be our honeymoon cruise and trying to make it wonderful cruise.

Anyone familiar to either cabin ?

We booked on the Divina to go to the new Marine Reserve.  There is at least 15 of us going and 3 of the cabins booked cabanas.

We want them next to each other. Is there a process I should do?

Does anyone have a picture of the Cabanas on the Marine Reserve?  Ive already booked a cabana and if we get a lot of people going we might want more than one. Trying to see how it might work out.

Go online and find the deal you want first. 

Don’t rely on everything they say. 

Then tell them exactly what you want. 

If it’s not going your way try back to another person.  Sometimes I get good help and sometimes I don’t.

I did a rebook on a cruise next year. We received the Black Card 5% and the Promo 10% on the YC. Saved us some good money.  The people doing the rebooking must put the Black Card discount first then add the 10% promo or it messes it all up.

Then it goes to a supervisor to fix and that can take maybe a week since the promo code came out. I had one guy mess mine up then the next day I got another promo code and had the girl delete the guys error and re do my rebook.  Thank goodness she got it correct. Also he pulled the wrong cruise deal. With the YC you don't need a drink and wifi promotion. I got the name of the deal I wanted and told her which one. Sometimes you really need to guide them how to do it.

my boyfriend is having a large issue from corporate all of a sudden.  I figured if he doesn’t go, I’d go with someone else.

i haven’t figured it out just getting the information.

My fiancé and I are thinking of getting married on the Divina. We want to plan a cruise wedding with lots of people coming with us and we also want to stay a week longer.

What is MSC procedure for back to back cruising?  I love the Yacht Club and maybe having the same cabin both cruises if available.

 Do they make you pack your bags and go through customs like everyone else with your bags or what is it you have to do?

If I have to pack my bags then it wont matter which cabin I have. If I don't have to pack I may need to book my same cabin. ;)

There website is horrible. it keeps popping me log in and log out, its irritating.

Then when trying to do something on my reservation it pops me out and then says there is a change going on you need to try back in 20 minutes. grrrrrrr

I cant just look for a cruise that has specific days I want or if I want a 5 days etc.

I would like to be able to see what ports of the cruise post without having to go into each post.

The pictures are pretty but the website usability is horrible.

Why did they ever buy this platform?

The new site has problems. I am able to find my reservations under my account, but there is no way (that I could find) to manage excursions or specialty dining. Celebrity... don't you want us to book these add-ons?

I have the same issue and Captain Club had the same issue when I phoned.

Thank Goodness I printed out all my dining purchases and reservation times. When it changes that much mid cruise purchase is scary. I hope they fix it soon.

I think the magic carpet looks very cool in theory but if its all open, its going to be pretty windy on it.

The picture looks like its open from the deck rails up. You will not be able to eat drink or have a hairstyle if that it so. I cant imagine they would let that happen. What do you think?

Two years ago on the TA Reflection had 6 bottles and one guy bought them all, lock - stock - and barrel. I agree with others, bring two. That way you know you have them and aren't disappointed if the ship doesn't.

I cant seem to get an exact answer on that. Current menu do not show it but that means nothing.

I bring a pop up mesh laundry basket that folds flat. Fits perfect in my suit case. I always bring my own hair dryer, theirs do not help at all.

I bring a three electric outlet not a strip. Post-its to leave notes in the room.

Pictures of important stuff on my phone in case I need info.

Tall travel cup, so I can have a large drink from my room and not keep going back to fill up. Just think it wont spill if the ships really rocking. Ha Ha

Carry crossbody bag just large enough to carry that days items. Never know when you need both hands for an impromptu dance or game.

I bring a small magnified mirror for the look behind the hair and up close at the eyes when getting ready. I bring hair pieces to get ready fast.

Water wallets are handy.

I make a spreadsheet of the week for packing , each port, time etc and pencil in the clothes and accessories so I don't over pack.

My boyfriend and I are in Aqua Class cabin and Blu is are dining.

Our reservation show Select dining with Traditional wait list.

Do we need to make reservations for each night in Blu, if so how is that done?

Can I set up before the cruise or once I get on the ship?

Is there a Main and Traditional dining times in Blu or only for the Main dining room?

Never done the Blu dining and confused. Ha Ha
