  1. We are on this cruise Jan 2020 and you do not need Yellow fever as confirmed with our doctor and travel nurse. We are only transiting the Panama Canal and not stopping
  2. on Friday the 11th October personaliser was taking bookings for excursions and then saying "technical fault try again later". i tried 3 times before i got the booking confirmed, then found money taken 3 times. If you have booked any excursions check your bank, customer service were not very helpful
  3. This is to be introduced from the 1st October 2019 see attached file. eta-factsheet-for-travel-sector.pdf
  4. Has anyone been in this cabin as on the deck plans it shows a blank space next to it?
  5. We are on Arcadia for the 2020 cruise and have done our own visa. USA ESTA do on line $14 each Australia online free NZeta there is an app for smart phone we’re you scan your passport MAKE sure that after the scan your name is spelt correctly and all other details are correct. Cost $9 and $35 dollars for an environmental tax. Sri Lanka is free online but cannot apply till 90 days before arrival China depends on what you are doing ashore
  6. when on Brittania in March we were waitlisted before the cruise and received our tickets in the cabin on arrival, we did not have any notification from P&O that a space had become available. We complained to shore excursions but was still charged, on returning home complained and got the money refunded.
  7. when I was looking to go by coach I found Eavesway to be the same price as Cruise Connect. Our preference is to use Eavesway as the 2 times we have had a return coach to Manchester after transatlantic the coaches were not as good, no wifi. We have booked Eavesway pick up in Bolton.
  8. I do not know what more could have been done Captain kept everybody updated, yes toilets were an issue but was told to use your cabin. Lunch was either a barbecue or a cold buffett in the Peninsular. Staff used evac chairs to help passengers around the ship.
  9. Sailing from Southampton did not fill in forms in November and December
  10. Was not an issue for us last week we were on Riviera deck at the back
  11. Just back off Ventura and my son attended the art class on each sea day cost £21 for his kit, they did a morning and afternoon session in Metropolis. The instructor was very good and has written some books, my son really enjoyed it
  12. Christmas Eve is a normal day usually in port, they hold midnight mass shared between passengers and crew. Christmas Day is at sea and has a full program and is formal you even get a visit from Santa. If you are on freedom then they request you to pick 1st or 2nd sitting for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve makes it easier for the waiters to finish and enjoy. We are on Oriana from 21st December and do it most years
  13. We have our shares with Equiniti and do not have to do anything as they are regocnised by P&O. Just speak to Bolsover who apply the OBC. We get the dividend paid into our bank every quarter and a confirmation email works well for us. just returned off Ventura a 13 night cruise and got the maximum £150 when we thought we would only get £60 so pleasing surprise
  14. We are booked on this cruise and have waited till retirement to do it. Booked early and got a good price. We did the last leg from Dubai a few years back.
  15. We did the cable car just walked up the road from the drop off point no real queues, would by the tickets from the cable car station rather than the shops on the way up as was €2 cheaper. We found it very busy at the top as the ship tours seemed to visit early was they had gone not a problem
