Booked with Seattle Cruise Park last week  https://www.seattlecruiseparking.com/full-service-parking/ $167 includes valet parking and shuttle to and from the pier.

First time booking with them but they have good reviews, we are on the Discovery August 14th.

I just booked my parking at Seattle Cruise Park at the armory for our June 26th cruise on the Discovery Princess and I had to get the Valet parking option as they are full. I'm not to keen on giving them my keys but we'll see how it goes.

I'm going to say sorry first. If the cruise line wanted you there at 10 am they would have told you. They are asking you to be there at noon so they can get everyone onboard in a some what controlled manner. Why is so hard for people to understand this. You are NOT special. Your special time is at noon. Be a good traveler and do right by your fellow travelers.

Again I'm sorry but now that that is over some advise on what to do the morning of. We book our hotel downtown so that we can wake up, clean up, then head over to Pike Place and watch as the market is opening up and coming alive for the day. We'll grab some coffee from the Starbucks there and maybe find some breakfast too. I'll even buy my wife some fresh flowers from the market to put in our cabin for the week. You'll have to carry them on board but everyone will be envious and ask where you got them. Around 10:00 - 10:30 we'll make our way back to hotel, grab our bags and head to the pier about 11:30.

We almost always have a 11am check in time. Some people just don't get it. I've been to Pier 91 at 11am and it's an absolute zoo with people who aren't supposed to be there until 1pm or later. I remember one time we were late getting to Pier 91, we got there at around 3pm and it was a breeze getting on the ship, couldn't do that now since they leave at 3pm. Traffic is so terrible in Seattle that you almost have to come into town every.

When I booked it valet was the only option available no option to choose self park.  Not having used any of the parkades near the pier I appreciate the helpful information some have provided.

I guess I'd better get going and book my parking space at Seattle cruise ship parking lot at the Armory. Our kids would not be happy if they had to drive us to Pier 91.

  4. I've got Sound Mobile Diagnostics https://soundmobilediagnostics.com/  coming over to my house to give us the test. The last so called free test we got wasn't free, we got that one from curative.

I find it pretty hard to believe Princess would let get on the ship with a piece of paper, e-mail that says you have appointment to get a COVID but the results haven't came back yet. If that was the case why would anyone get tested.

  5. I've never parked at the Republic parking lot "D" before. I heard bad things about there experience parking there. We always park at the Armory parking lot, never have had a problem there. I don't know why you'd need a valet parking, they pick you up at your car and drop you off at your car when you return. I think only an idiot would get confused on which parking lot there parked in. Seattle cruise ship "Armory" parking tell you here the scuttle van will be and then they give you a card with the pick letter on it and the phone number.

  6. We've parked with Seattle cruise parking for about 10 years now. It's easy enough to find, it's on the west side of 15th Ave west, turn down West Armory Way,  you can't miss it there's a Whole Foods Market on the corner and a stop light. If you need to get yourself a bottle of wine there's a Total Wine and More https://www.totalwine.com/?gclid=b0b093baff8512df3bacf132b7889653&gclsrc=3p.ds&&pid=cpc:Brand%2BUS%2BWASH%2BENG%2BSPART%2BEXT::bing::&msclkid=b0b093baff8512df3bacf132b7889653  down West Armory way on your right as you drive down towards the parking lot. You can't miss the parking lot, it's the first left after you pass Interbay Self Storage, which is on the left side. You park your car, place your bags at the back of your car  and they will pick you and your bags up at the car, the shuttle will take you over to Pier 91, it's about a 10 minute ride over to the Pier. They drop off about 75 - 100 yards from the front of the terminal building.

  7. We have done the excursion “Endicott Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer” numerous times and were a little disappointed when we booked this cruise and found that the Endicott Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer excursion is sold out. This is a wonderful excursion and we were looking forward of doing again this year. This excursion is run by Allen marine tours. In years past there has been 2 tour boats pick up passengers off the ship. I believe that there was only 1 boat that picked up passengers off the Discovery. The boat ride back to Juneau can be a long boat ride but we’ve seen bears on the beach and many whales on the trip to Juneau, s that in itself has been a plus. It’s a whole new cruising world we live in with staffing shortages, this leads to logistical problems for tour operators and so on.

  8. I have to concur, if it’s not broke don’t fix it. There are people who still enjoy traditional dining and they should be allowed to do traditional dining. We enjoy traditional dining, making new cruise friends etc. On our last cruise on the Majestic Princess the dining room experience was terrible, there were lines every night at the door. I told the maître d' on the first night that we wanted the same table and server every night, he said No! he couldn’t do that, when I raised my voice he decided that he could. The tables on the newer ships leave a lot to be desired. Most of the tables are tables for 2 with a bench seat on one side and a chair on the other, there is about an 18” of space between the 2 tables

Thank you so much..it looks very interesting, diverse and not strenuous.

I think you’ll enjoy the puppies up at Caribou Crossing at Carcross, I really did. And don’t forget about the puppies in piazza at Skagway.

We are on the Crown Princess sailing on 8/27/22. Looking for anyone who has been on this tour and what your opinion is on the tour.

Experience The Yukon & Suspension Bridge

    8.25 hours | Skagway

Thanks in advance for any opinions/observations

We've done this excursion a couple of times and found it to be well worth the cost. We are looking at doing it again this year.
