I realise that, but they should show the ship correctly what it is in real life and not show it with reduced capacity to make it look more attractive.
How do they know what real life is if the ship has never sailed?

Coco Cay for me, love the pool and the beaches.

Just watching television on Explorer, at least 4 channels are about Icon of the Seas
Seams looking at Royal Caribbean production videos only slim young people with young children are allowed on Icon
That counts me out, I don't fit into that category on all counts 😏Me either but I'm going to go anyway!

O class don't tender.
Thank you, I wasn't sure if they would have to do that in Europe.

All of this depends on whether you dock or are tendered in to the port.
Lines for elevators is vastly different from cruise to cruise.

Yes. Very few people pay 20k for a cruise and almost everyone else wouldn’t. But that story isn’t as captivating.
That comparison is far too complementary btw.
That's why there are fewer cabins on the ship that cost that amount of money, and so many more for the rest of us.

We save and vacation when the budget allows. Maybe they save a lot and wait longer for vacation. Maybe they are richer than you and I, I don't care if what they pay if it helps with the bottom line for the cruiseline I'm happy for them and hope they have a great cruise vacation.

I book what I can afford at the time, could be anything from an Ocean View Balcony to Crown Loft Suite on Oasis, it depends on the price. Also won an Owner's Suite in a RoyalUp bid so that works too.

this should be posted in every forum thread that asks about the KSC tour. when i went, the bus from the ship got there 1030 and left at 230. no way near enough time. most of the time was waiting for the atlantis exhibit and the tour bus. if a ship only gets in at 1, and KSC closes at 5, id never take that tour. not enough time and the bus lines are crazy the later in the day you get.
Thank you, we were on Oasis and had booked the shore excursion, but when I looked at the website I knew there wouldn't be enough time for my husband, so we had to book a cruise out of PC and go early just to do KSC, it was so worth it!

Thanks, I was just curious.
I for one have an inlaid wood table we got in Sorrento years ago. Every time we tell the story on how we got it, my wife raises the price🤣🤣
You have to adjust for inflation!

We just did the Kennedy Space Center in January, we flew down early for a cruise. We arrived at 9AM (which is when they open) and we were there until 4PM. There is a ton to see at least 5 or 6 different buildings, they take you out to the active site by bus. If you go enjoy the day.

I’m currently in a Crown Loft Suite on the Oasis. I went on a scavenger hunt for outlets for you. Here is what I found.
Downstairs
Behind coffee maker
Behind corner floor lamp
Upstairs
On top of dressing table
Behind (moveable) bedside cabinet - Left side
On the right side of the bed there is only the left (US) outlet and a telephone connection.
l don’t think I missed anything. I hope this helps.
Oh my goodness, thank you so much, you win the non-existent award for most helpful cruisecritic member I have ever come across. If we are ever on the same sailing I would love to buy you a drink. Thank you for taking time out of your cruise to do this. It's very much appreciated. Friends cruising with us next year he has a bipap machine and both have phones and watches. I was hoping they could use my adapter or converter whichever it is. But the 3 outlets will work, I also have a plug with 4 usb ports, so that should work for both of us. Again, I can thank you enough. Please enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Thank you all, very much appreciated. I looked at Harr travel video of the Crown Loft Suite, but his logo was over the outlet part of the video, Ugh! I also have a 4 USB plug, but I thought I may be able to use both.
I knew someone on here would be able to answer, again, thank you!
Have a great day, and whenever your next cruise is enjoy.

did you save any money by bidding over just reserving it?
Absolutely, we bid just over minimum. I looked up to see what it would be before we bid, I was like $5,000 more. But as I said before, we were on an older ship, with a lot of older passengers, I believe it would be different on an Oasis or Quantum Class Ship.

Sory, don't know her.
If it was a him, I might have known him if he played golf
Didn't think you would, hope you enjoy your golf, my dad played one of the courses at St. Andrews, it was on his bucket list. I was back to visit another cousin in Glasgow last year, and went through to Edinburgh. It was a great trip.

Went from JR to OS. Didn't try for GS.
Same for us. But I think the ship has a lot to do with it. We were on Jewel, possibly fewer people sailing on an older ship. Or older passengers who don't do RoyalUP bids. Everything is very subjective.

I for one would not like to stay in a cabin the week after someone who had had curry every day on their cruise. That smell lingers especially on furniture and curtains. Can't get past the smell of curry of sauerkraut, both of them make me feel ill.

Fuel in Gib is tax free. Cheapest place to get fuel in Europe. Even for cars in town. Still not as cheap as Us though.
Sailing into Gib is a sight with all the cargo and tankers in the bay.
Where are you in Fife, my cousin lives in Cupar?

Is there one or two seatings for dinner or is it all MTD?
