I’m currently in a Crown Loft Suite on the Oasis. I went on a scavenger hunt for outlets for you. Here is what I found.

On the right side of the bed there is only the left (US) outlet and a telephone connection.

l don’t think I missed anything. I hope this helps.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much, you win the non-existent award for most helpful cruisecritic member I have ever come across.  If we are ever on the same sailing I would love to buy you a drink. Thank you for taking time out of your cruise to do this. It's very much appreciated. Friends cruising with us next year he has a bipap machine and both have phones and watches. I was hoping they could use my adapter or converter whichever it is. But the 3 outlets will work, I also have a plug with 4 usb ports, so that should work for both of us. Again, I can thank you enough. Please enjoy the rest of your cruise.

  2. Thank you all, very much appreciated. I looked at Harr travel video of the Crown Loft Suite, but his logo was over the outlet part of the video, Ugh! I also have a 4 USB plug, but I thought I may be able to use both.

I knew someone on here would be able to answer, again, thank you!

Have a great day, and whenever your next cruise is enjoy.

did you save any money by bidding over just reserving it?

Absolutely, we bid just over minimum. I looked up to see what it would be before we bid, I was like $5,000 more. But as I said before, we were on an older ship, with a lot of older passengers, I believe it would be different on an Oasis or Quantum Class Ship.

I have uploaded photos in the past and, apparently, they did not meet RCI's standards so they took our photos at the pier. I no longer bother uploading them ahead of time, I just have them taken at the pier.

We've done it twice and they have been fine. Don't know what I'm doing right but I hope nothing changes.

when raising my children I managed to keep them occupied, while teaching them social skills and manners without the use of electronics.

IMO…….parents are missing some important teachable moments by giving these children devices instead of taking the time to interact with them….

There were no electronics when my kids were little. I think it's too easy to use electronics to distract little ones now, but what the parents don't acknowledge is the disruption to others in a public setting.

Omg women still wear Poison??? You are so right about the grape jelly smell!!!!!!

When it was really popular in the early/mid 80s, I bought a bottle of it and Halston Night in Jamaica, and someone stole it and my husband’s Halston 112 😂 from our suitcase! We were 20 years old and it was our first big trip together. We weren’t even old enough to drink 😊

All I know is my SIL used to wear it all the time! It's still around, but I don't know if anyone still wears it.

This goes for kids and cell phones/tablets too. I'm so tired of parents giving their kids their cell phone or a tablet to keep them entertained and they are watching videos or playing games with the volume on (sometimes loud). Headphones people! Headphones!

Especially in the MDR. I know you have to keep them occupied, but I have no desire to listen to the music that goes along with their game. It's so annoying.

Thank you!   Folks, proof positive that there are still some people with common sense and common decency.

BTW, I'm sure you know this but just to be clear for others, I really don't mind Chanel #5.  That was my mom's favorite perfume and the first thing/example that came to mind.  However, I do get ill with the smell of none fresh fish.

I assumed that, I mean who could dislike Chanel #5, I however have an extreme dislike of Poison, to me it smells like an extreme version of Grape Jelly, makes me ill. UGH.

I love the smell of salt air while on a cruise ship. Nothing better.

I don't have a problem with following rules, I know that's not your point.  I just always feel that I need to get that out there.  I may not agree with them all but I'll follow them.

My overall point is complaining or making issue with those that don't have a problem a passive action.  If you said that you like to smell Chanel #5 and I get deathly sick from it, I won't make issue with you by name or in any other way.  Your post/response addresses a person that was not smoking, just smelling the smoke and not having a problem with it or actually enjoying it.  Again, not engaging in the action(s) that offend you.

AND, I know that there are rules governing smoking on a ship and elsewhere.  I was just asking if people don't like this, that, or the other, do we make new rules/regulations/laws for them, where does it all stop.  Where does my rights end and your rights begin.  No, I'm not asking for rules governing the smell of fish or perfume.  We have enough rules/regulations/laws already.

I think it is clear that your issue (and I don't blame you) is with people smoking in unauthorized areas.  Not with those, like me, that don't mind the smell of smokers/smoking.  So, I don't know why the need to find issue with those that don't mind it, they're not smoking, just breathing.

If we were to meet and you had a problem with Chanel #5 I wouldn't wear that perfume. Especially if you let me know ahead of time. People should think about others instead of themselves all the time. I know it's an outdated mode of thinking. Hope you have a great day.

Very true.  However, I'm very sensitive to the smell of fish, to the point of a physical reaction, some perfumes (which in some cases I can smell in the cabin next door), and others!  Can I get a law, rule, or regulation for that?  Can we get some social rebuke of those smells/products?   Where does it all stop?

But, my real issue here is someone says they don't mind the smell of something, then some, a very few, find the need to find fault with the person's likes or dislikes that does not have any harmful effects to anyone else, it's a passive act.  The person(s), and I, said that we don't mind the smell of cigarette smoke.  It isn't us that is doing the smoking, we just don't mind being around it.  So, what is the issue  If someone is smoking in a cabin next door and you don't like it and/or are sensitive to it, it's YOUR business to take the appropriate action, appropriate for you.  For me, if I'm adjacent to the authorized smoking area, I'll enjoy it.  If I smell or see smoking in an unauthorized area, I'd consider doing something about it.

My point, why criticize or make issue of someone that isn't participating in the act that is so offensive to you.  You meaning anyone that finds fault of someone that likes the smell of something and is doing no harm to anybody else.  I like the smell of actively utilized barns (I'm an old farm boy), I don't demand that anyone else has to or find fault of those that don't.

I get your point, however none of the actions you mentioned are against any Royal Caribbean rules. Smoking in your cabin is. Neither my husband or I like the smell, for me it's an asthma thing. Sorry that the smell of some perfumes that must be terrible. Hope it doesn't happen often. I didn't mean to be critical, just point out that the actions could impact others without their knowledge.
