All the HAL crises we have been on a rubber mat has always been in the tub.

Had bottles in our checked bags for years. No problem. Just transfer them to carry on at arrivals airport.

Remember the days when we had fun games and gained points for prizes. I have several from 1998, water bottle holders, battery alarm clock, etc. They still travel with me.

Over the last twenty years we have purchaced many items at reasonable prices but on the Westerdam TA Last spring the stores were stocked with high end merchandise. Way over my budget.

Soda card is for fountain soda unless they run out. Then it's a can. Ask for no ice. That will fill the glass You can get ice in the lido.

Cdn $ forecasts are contradictory and what happens in the future is an unkown.

 

But the current rate is definitely attractive compared to where it has been ;)

According to many reports here on CC, there are no more cruise logs. We didn’t get one on the Oosterdam in September, 2017.

We got one after the TA on Westerdam last year in April but it said we left FL. and headed to Purto Vallarta Mexico. Must have slept through that part.

If you had a love one pas away on a ship you would always make sure you have aproviate insurance.

As a Canadian I have spent many vacations in Cuba. By far my favorited island. First in 1979 when there were restrictions but now you are a regular tourist. Wonderful people. So many places to visit and experiences you will not find elsewhere. Do not hesitate to go.

Try them all. You can have as many as you want at each meal. My husband tried that and survived. Lol

Border Security doescnot allow personal alcohol in carry on . Unless purchased at duty free which have limited selection it has to be in checked baggage. How does HAL handle that.

I agree. Do they think just because you are alone now you don't need a balcony. Balconys have so many wonderful memory's with your loved one. A peaceful private place to relive some of the best moments of your lives together.

Few years ago on a eastbound TA we detoured close to Bermuda for a medical emergency. A medical ship met us to take care of the transfer.
