  1. You are on vacation, if you want to be by yourselves, then just request it, or if you want to be with others then let it happen. You can always make a change any time and the dining room manager will change your table.

  2. Let the tour operator of the excursion you plan on using know your ship name and arrival time. They will know the best time to arrange to meet you.

I agree, the tour operator will wait for you to arrive before he leaves as long as you have communicated with them. They can't make any money without you. I have done many independent tours and they always are there waiting for all their people right outside the pier.

    Have fun

  3. The reports that I have read from local sources is that NCL both her and was deciding on what to do with her. Every few years, there is a report that they are going to scrap her, but someone comes trough and donates money to pay for the upkeep. She is a real South Philly Landmark, just south of Pends Landing. You should go to John's Roast Pork and get a sandwich and step outside and eat it while taking in the sights of a magnificent old ship.

  4. I feel the same way about the steel drum Caribbean music being missing on both Celebrity and on Carnival as well. On the last few cruises, the DW and i would grab some drinks and head to our veranda and play some Jimmy Buffett tunes on our little bluetooth speaker. BTW, on our last cruise, some of our neighbors asked us to turn the music up. Even without live music, the cruise dj can play this kind of music, but lately it seems that they don't.

  5. As far as the B2B liquor, carnival closed the loophole and you can't buy liquor on leg 1 for leg 2. But that being said.......make friends with a non b2b guest let them buy liquor for you before the end of the 1st leg and when they pick it up on the morning of the switch over, pay them cash for the liquor and then you're set.
