Thank you hallasm for your listing of restaurants! This is a great help.

  2. I am a US citizen and I have a valid Russian Visa. I am currently in Russia - just returned from Moscow yesterday & spending today & the remainder of the week/weekend in St. Petersburg with some of my Russian friends. Everything seems the same as on my previous trips to Russia - no issues getting through immigration at the airport, all calm in the city.

This is reassuring. Thanks for letting us know the local current situation.

  3. My first cruise was on the Crown Princess in 1991. It was described a few posts above as an all white ship with a domed casino on top.

Our day itinerary was Fort Lauderdale - St. Thomas - San Juan - Nassau - Fort Lauderdale.

One thing that stood out for me on that cruise on one of the sea days at the stern, we did some skeet shooting. Something that is totally unheard of these days.

I didn't cruise again until 11 years later in 2002.

  4. Very sorry to hear about your dad Wrigley. I feel I got to know the both of you by reading some of your pictorials, plus you are so active in these forums, so you are part of the furniture here at Cruise Critic.

Fortunately you were able to make a record of your travels with your dad here on Cruise Critic. You can look back at them and enjoy the fond memories you two shared.

I do hope you will be able to still enjoy cruising and hopefully you will find someone who will be delighted to cruise with you.

    Please accept my condolences.
