I cannot comment on the costco card, but I have used citi cards for my on board spending before, and it is recognized as a travel expense.
-
Its not just this deal. Early saver has to have a price in your cabin category to qualify for any rate drop.
Carnival considers the price minus the obc as the price the rate is based on. If there are no rooms available in your category, there is no new price to base your cruise on.
-
If you already have a cruise booked, and then buy the shares, do you get the obc?

Really doesn't matter. On the miracle last year, the guy on the balcony below us was always smoking. I called and reported it, and carnival never did anything about it. He kept on smoking. He was sneaky. I saw the little filter less cigarette cupped in his hand.

Chocolates on the pillow are one of those nice little touches they have been taking away (freebies in the bathroom, etc). All those nice little touches added up together made you feel special on vacation. They should get back to more of that, instead of sky rides, and imax theatres.
That's exactly what it is. I always saved them and gave them to my kids. If they didn't go with me on the cruise, they were super excited to get them when I got home.

Tonight until 6pm on ebay. Add a $50 gift card and a $25 to equal a total of $75. Enter promo code CruiseN2Summer and it will automatically take $15 off.
If you get an error just keep trying!
I ALWAYS miss this one!!
I'm subscribed to their cheesy deals emails and yet they never tell me about this one

For me, it isn't hard to navigate. It just doesn't work most of the time. I get spinning wheel and the cruises don't populate. Its incredibly frustrating.

I can't seem to bring myself to order the bottle of whiskey in room. I mean $90 for a bottle of $15 whiskey???
I know I'm going to spend around $500 just on booze and the $90 bottle will save me some money, but come on...that's almost criminal...
I hear ya! For me, I'd rather pay the full price for a served drink: prepared and poured. That $90 bottle is just full markup for nothing.

Carnival's biggest money maker and they are slowing down the distribution channel.
Not really though. If a lot of people are buying cheers, then ccl already has the money in their pockets and can get away with fewer drink pushers.

I recall seeing something on tv that NY pizza had nothing to do with the oven and everything to do with the dough. My understanding is that pretzels, bagels, and pizza in NY get taste and texture in the dough because of NY city water.

Yes it's linked on the bottom right corner of John Heald's blog on Carnival.com
(
No thats the same one (1/29/16). I thought maybe there was a NEW one...
-
Is there a new CD list?
-
OP,
Have you thought of asking John Heald if he can find out who the manufacturer is? a lot of times those commercial soaps are they same as others you can buy in the store. You might be able to find a reliable source you can buy via mail order. Just a thought.

A couple of small items complements of the chef
My husband said that slider was the best burger he'd ever had. I suspect it was that he was super hungry when they brought it!

Wait...
All excursions can be canceled 24 hours prior to the cruise?
I never knew this!

Have you considered buy the TSA pre check? Some of the best money I have ever spent. the lines at the airport are ridiculous!
We just got this! I am so excited to not have to take off my shoes or have to wait 15 minutes while dh puts his belt and shoes back on!
-
That happened to me a one point on a price drop. I figued it didn't really matter since I was going to have to pay it eventually anyway.

The larger more metropolitan port cities will have a larger demographic from other areas. So you'll find more people from other parts of the US and the world on those that depart from big cities. You're less likely to find people from other areas on some of the more local ports.

Which sailing did you get it for?

There are a bunch of pretty new pics of the Magic over on the cruise reviews section of Cruise Critic! There are pics of all the cabin categories as well.

Hey Jailerman,
We looked at all the shuttle prices for our upcoming cruise out of port canaveral and we opted for one-way car rentals. We checked with our employer-sponsored deals and found one that beat any shuttle cost. Since we have a late flight back home, this will give us some flexibility to hang out in Orlando for the day before going to the airport.
You might want to see if your employer has any deals. Many large corporations and government jobs have deals.

we really need more pics of the magic...:) They are very scarce it seems.

In my experience, if a roll call group doesn't hold something early on in the cruise, no one really makes any more effort to do anything. The only time we had a successful roll call meet up was on my Splendor 2009 cruise. We talked for months prior, met on the first day, did the cabin crawl, had a byo party in one attendee's suite, slot pull, and continued to run into each other throughout the cruise.
But timing is key. If you don't meet up with your roll call group early on in the cruise, no one is going to meet up later. So they really need to set them up earlier.
Sadly thouh, it sounds like Carnival is putting together a nice event. Continual low turnouts will result in them going away.
I feel like cruisers will only show up if they know ahead of time there is a free drink in it for them.
UH OH! I messed up on LAX flight - Miracle help?

You should be fine. Just use self assist. We've gotten off before 8am before.
