Hi everyone My family will be on this cruise. We are 15 so far in 6 cabins on deck 7. There are 3 children age 8,10, and 11, 12 adults age 36 to 67. I am hoping my College age grandchildren are able to join us, just waiting to hear if they get to work internships this summer. We are from Chattanooga Tn., Charlotte NC, Hampton Va and Cleveland Ohio. This is my second cruise, My children and grandchildren have been on lots more. Looking forward to having a great time. Not only can you get an egg white omelette (or a pretty dang good loaded regular omelette), but you can also get real scrambled eggs there instead of the "so called" eggs on the buffet.

I've seen people ask for scrambled eggs at the omelette station but they were told they had to get the scrambled eggs from the regular buffet.

Yes, I understand for the pool only. I assume the comment in post #2 about "emergency disaster devices, yes they are new, but only for Platinum and Diamond guests" was supposed to be a joke??

They were originally only on a couple of ships but wouldn't surprise me if they've expanded fleet-wide now. I don't believe we signed it out for my daughter last week.

This morning on John Heald's video from the Carnival Liberty, he showed life jackets on the Lido deck near the towel hut. Do all ships now have life jackets or is this just a trial on a few ships? I was on the Glory last November and do not remember seeing any life jackets then.

Do you just sign them out the same way you do towels?

I've done three B2B cruises on Carnival. Make sure to book the same cabin for both weeks so that you don't have to pack up at the end of week one. Take a ship that alternates schedule, ports from one week to another. Enjoy the empty ship between the time that the passengers from week one leave to when the passengers from week two begin to arrive, maybe 45 mins. to an hour.

They will make you leave the ship with your luggage and then re-board, security, keys, etc

I've done 3 B2B cruises with Carnival, never had to take my luggage off the ship after the first leg??

Thinking about booking the Carnival Valor cabin 7345. Saw some old pictures where the beds are on the floor, but sure would like to know if anyone has been in this cabin recently and if it still the same setup or not. Any help would be so appreciated.

I stayed in cabin 7345 on the Valor in 2008, at that time it hade two beds on the floor that could be pushed together.

Does anybody know if the Glory is getting a Red Frog Pub on the promenade deck, like the Valor and Freedom already have?

Where do Carnival ships go for drydock?

It's great when they make improvements to ships, but I would not be happy if I had to put up with construction and barricades during my cruise.

Just wondering. I know they are prevalent in hotels, so I assume the same can be said for cruise ships?

From what I have found, Glory will be getting waterworks, a build-a-bear workshop, new propellers, and routine maintenance and repairs (tile.carpet, etc). I'm interested to see what, if anything, else might get added/changed. We sail on her in May.

I hope the Glory gets new propellers, maybe it will eliminate all the cavitation you can feel in the back dining room and comedy club.

i've only noticed a charge then a credit for each time we send the laundry out. I've never seen it listed before laundry is done.

Only on 5+ day sailings.

I was on the Glory last November and there was a game room with arcade type games,air hockey etc. I believe the Glory is going in to dry dock in the next month or so, not sure if they plan to make any changes concerning the game room.

What dates are you sailing? If it's the week before Thanksgiving save some BBQ for me:D.
