  1. I have never tried to smuggle any water (or anything else for that matter) onboard, but I can tell you I'd be all over this. We would probably preorder 2 cases and then buy extra onboard. In a heartbeat...

Someone should start a petition...I'd sign it, but wouldn't know how to go about starting one. Include the letter from Carnival to show RCCL what they are doing.

  2. Our upcoming cruise to San Juan doesn't get there until 4:00. We are there until 11:00. Any suggestions on inexpensive things to do? On our past cruises, we were in port early. We like to sightsee and will be lucky to see one fort at most if we run when the ship pulls in. What else does everyone do in San Juan?

  3. Be educated about what you are buying before you walk in the door. I tried on a silver ring at a DI and the sales lady was trying to convince me it was white gold. It was clearly lighter than gold and the 925 stamp inside gave it away even further...just know what you are buying.

  4. Lets just say that my opinion differs from those above

    .

Mine too...we were on his last sailing before his vacation last year. Not sure if that had an impact or not. It was also the sailing they had mechanical problems and changed the ENTIRE cruise (supposed to be Eastern, but ended up being Nassau for repairs and Cozumel). Maybe that had an impact. He just didn't seem like he wanted to be there and was just going through the motions. Very disappointing after Graham. I suspect Casey will be CD on our upcoming trip at the end of August and I'm a little sad about that.

  5. Question...

I just did my Online check in for an upcoming cruise. How long after I do that are my luggage tags available for printing? I was looking through my reservation and couldn't find where to print them...

(:D And you probably thought I was going to be complaining they don't send them out like the "Good ole days" when you saw the title...Actually, I have no problem printing my tags. I find that they are sturdier than Royal's used to be if you fold them according to the directions.)

  6. How did this work for you? Did you find the Priority line? I am looking for the same info you were looking for. We will be sailing out of terminal 1 for the first time soon. We have only sailed from 10 in canaveral. Last time, no one was directing anyone and we got in the wrong line. It took an hour and a half to get into the terminal (long story) and we got sunburned before we even boarded. I am trying to make sure that doesn't haooen again. Lol!

  7. We have sailed on the FOS three times and just booked another sailing for August. It is by far our favorite ship. We think it has the best crew out there. We were on it in December when it was having engine problems which caused the alteration of our sailing. I can't say enough about how the crew treated the guests evem though most of the guests were acting badly.

I DOUBT the crew would be unhelpful towards anyone who may think they have noro. They take noro very seriously.

I call troll. You have nothing to worry about with the FOS crew.

  8. There was a credit applied to your account. $450 for balcony and $275 for inside and oceanview. Not sure about other room categories.

Thanks. We were in a balcony. I was a little surprised to see a credit that high because we got the room at such a good rate. I wasn't sure how they handled it. I think the compensation was fair, despite the complaints I heard from others. We still had a vacation even though they weren't the ports we had booked. As long as I can apply my future cruise credit towards the cruise I currently have booked next year, I will be more than happy. :D

In a side note, I thought that this was by far the rudest group of passengers I have ever sailed with. Not sure if it was because of the circumstances or if society is just getting that bad. People just seemed more self-centered and oblivious to everyone around them on this trip...:(
