  1. If you like coffee, Don Ruiz Coffee up across from Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Soooooooooooo good!
  2. Weird…it let me use mine when I changed it. Constancy at its best.
  3. You say “healthier”, I say thriving. Compared to our closest mall in Vero, at least. 😜
  4. That’s awesome! I’m a Florida local govt employee and we have no such thing, sadly. Been using Nationwide cruise and thankfully haven’t needed to use it.
  5. There is most certainly a hallway. There are some videos on Youtube of that area on deck 3.
  6. Carry it on so you don’t risk it exploding in your suitcase and drenching the suitcases around you.
  7. They aren’t offloading the passenger until the air transport gets there? We had several medical emergencies when we were on Adventure a few weeks ago. Left Dominican Republic and had to turn around and go back a few hours after we left to evac someone. Couldn’t make St. Thomas because of it and went to San Juan, where they evaced someone before we left. Later, were going to divert to Miami on the way back to Canaveral to evac a crew, but they stabilized.
  8. There wasn’t one on Adventure last week. I was very disappointed. 😒
  9. When we boarded this week, Johnny Rockets and Chops were both open.
  10. It was “bonded” to the captain, which means it was the captain’s cat…..which means the captain walked right on with it and wasn’t hiding it from everyone. Probably why RCL is picking up the tab…
  11. I believe that’s there more as a disclaimer that Royal can swap out what is delivered to your room with the bag and not the other way around. I wouldn’t count on them switching out the beers for something you want instead.
  12. I have a strong suspicion it varies with the ship, too. I was on Allure in an Owner’s Suite - probably our only time as we treated ourselves last October since it was our first cruise back. We had looked forward to Barefoot access and the better food. When we got there, I was surprised to see normal burgers and hot dogs. I thought it was strange and if that was upgraded, what did the regular buffets have. So, we went to look. It was the exact same. Not one thing special about Barefoot when we were there. But, a few weeks later, I saw someone on a different ship with what I would have expected. Oh well for us.
  13. Nope. Not when we sailed. It was the EXACT same as the regular buffets. I was disappointed since it had been billed as upgraded.
  14. We are not beach people, either. My husband insists we get off the ship each and every time we stop there. So, we lather up with our sunscreen and are usually back on the ship in about an hour - we just go down in our normal clothes and not swimsuits. We wait until there are no lines at the gangway. We’ll walk down to Dragon’s Breath and then down to the Artisan market. There is a “nature” trail, which is a short walk up a hill, which we usually “hike”. We eat lunch back on the ship. It is much more calm and cooler than the buffets on Labadee. IMO, I don’t think you’ll be missing anything if you take a walk and head back to the ship. We’ve never felt like we’ve missed anything. FWIW, CocoCay has MUCH better food than Labadee.
  15. We moved back to our original sailing today. I reached out to my TA and she hadn’t gotten the email from Royal yet. Maybe it was mixed in with the January cancellations and she just hadn’t sorted through to it yet. Either way, I was able to get my original room and am happy. We had gone from an 8 night to a 7 because it was the only thing that fit my schedule and didn’t get any compensation for the loss of day since prices skyrocketed since I had booked. Now we’re back to our 8 with no Labadee or Coco. Very happy to have the extra sea day again. It’s one of the things that made me want to book that particular sailing. Keeping my fingers crossed that they don’t re-cancel it.
  16. It’s on 2 and 3. The Guest entrance is on Deck 3. When you go in, it bottoms out on Deck 2.
  17. 1,000,000% agree! Please be considerate of others. What might be reasonable to you, might be too loud to others trying to relax in quiet.
  18. That’s not what I said at all. I was talking per drink and the OP understood what I was saying because I was directly answering using the examples they asked about and then added a few more.
  19. To expand on the free drinks, any beverage up to $14 is covered. So, for the Fraps, for example, you can get as many shots of flavors that you wan as long as it doesn’t go over the $14 (try chocolate and coconut. Mmmmmmmmmm,). Same with the shots in the coffee. Want a Powerade on a hot day? Covered. Want Tito’s instead of the rum in the Rum Runner? Ok. Covered. It’s really quite nice now and better than the old system.
  20. Our Freedom December 2024 cruise was just cancelled because they are sending the ship to dry dock. We’ve had it booked since December. An eagle eyed CC user posted a thread on April 30th that all the Freedom cruises had disappeared for a certain timeframe. Royal didn’t send us an email until June 28th informing us and giving us a few other cruises that we could pick from and have our original fare “price protected” with ZERO OBC incentives, which is good because prices across the board have skyrocketed since we booked. Problem is we lost a day of sailing, so we are still paying more, in essence. They did offer some money for non-refundable pre-purchased transportation change fees. Sadly, there was only one sailing that fit my limited schedule. There were some really good sailings had I been able to (like Oasis NYE). The other options we had were to book any other cruise with no price protection but also no change fees OR cancel completely for a full refund.
