  1. Last I saw, NCL Sky departed Miami yesterday headed for Jacksonville. I am thinking maybe this is where NCL will keep the Sky until in comes back in service in April. The cruise lines must be scrambling to determine where they can dock all these ships for the next 4 weeks.
  2. Not sure how much you all want to spend, but check out the stretch of hotels along SE 17th Street. Really close to where Regal will dock. All these hotels still have availability and sub $200 for the night. Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport Cruise Port Hyatt Place Ft Lauderdale Cruise Port Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina
  3. Thank you for your insight, much appreciated! Yes we have an ill family member and we just are hoping to keep in touch via email.
  4. We are hoping to cruise on the Regal eastbound trans-atlantic in April. Just need the connectivity to be good enough to be able keep in touch with home via email.
  5. Wondering if anyone can share their recent experiences (past few years) with MedallionNet specifically on Trans-Atlantic cruises. We are interested in booking the cruise, but would like some peace in mind on connectivity across the Atlantic before pulling the trigger. Thank you
  6. https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2020/02/07/world/asia/ap-as-china-outbreak.html https://www.scmp.com/news/asia/east-asia/article/3049629/coronavirus-three-new-infections-board-cruise-ship-japan 64 cases. ☹️
  7. Not being the bearer of "bad" news... But according to Twitter, hearing of 3 additional cases for a total of 64 cases on the Diamond Princess.
  8. Thanks for all the info, I'll call them up today to get the Surf plan with the Select discount.
  9. Cruising on the Edge on the 16th (beyond excited to say the least). Wondering if anyone has been onboard recently to provide internet costs. Also, I am Select tier which I believe includes a 25% discount? Any insight is appreciated. - Vinny
  10. Just noticed this on MarineTraffic see link below.. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/shipid:370053/zoom:10 Looks like they'll arrive in Cozumel shortly. Praying for the injured.
  11. Hey everyone, My mom and I are about 1 month away from sailing on the Edge. We are currently in an Oceanview room, but I am interested in trying to "Move-Up" to a Deluxe or Panoramic Oceanview room (there's availability for both). The Move-Up offers currently do not provide an opportunity to "Move-Up" bid within the Oceanview categories. Has anyone had any luck in emailing CelebrityMoveUp@Celebrity.com and hearing back from them? Thanks for your insight & experiences! PS - I cannot opt for a straight 'category to category' upgrade as the price difference is far too great.
  12. Hi everyone & Happy Holidays! This is a Celebrity - specific Onboard Credit question. And thank you all for your insight in advance. I see members talking about refundable vs non-refundable onboard credit. What's the difference and how do you know if your onboard credit is refundable or not? If you onboard credit is refundable, how you do get this credit back in cash at the end of your cruise?
  13. Hoping this can be Celebrity specific as different cruise lines allow you to use it differently.. I know you can use it for Specialty Dining, Beverage Packages, Excursions, Shopping, Tipping... Does anyone have any additional insight or experiences? We would love to use it in the casino, but don’t think we can? Thank you in advance
