  1. We are cruising on Equinox in August for 14 nights and have the Classic drinks package.

    worth $49 a day each that's $686 each

It appears from reading threads on here and viewing bar menu's that others have scanned that a lot of the drinks that were included are now not included in the classic package

We are not big drinkers and never normally drink spirits but were hoping to try a few cocktails, all these seem now to be NOT included in the classic package,

is this the case on Equinox?

I mainly drink beer and it also seems that the draft beer (usually the cheapest form of beer) is also priced $0.5 over the classic package price,

    is this the case?

so we have a package worth $686 and cannot get a small draft beer

I also saw a menu stating that there seems to be a reduced bar price for draft ales from 4pm to 6pm and from 10pm to 2am, is this the case on Equinox?

We don't want to upgrade to the premium package as we will struggle to get any where near the value out of the classic package since we don't drink enough wine or spirits .

If we wish to order water to take off ship on trips do we need to order from different bars so that we don't get charged for the second bottle?

it would also be nice to take a coke or two back to the room, again to we need to visit each bar on the ship to order more than one

    confused,

Could anyone who has recently sailed on equinox let me know the current policy for the classic package.

  2. please do not fall for this thread it is a wind up.

why was it also posted on other lines?

I'm sorry to disapoint but it was a genuine question, and the reason for posting on other lines was to find out what its like from passengers who have actually used the line.

We have not tried NCL, RCL or Princess hence the questions before we decide which line to try next.

From the replies It seems that it won't be a problem for us on any.

Our main worry was/is from smoking in cabines since we have booked into hotels in the past and mistakenly not askd for a non smoking room.

It seems that they very good at removing the smells of stale smoke and old ash trays from cabines better than some hotel rooms. (in Europe)
