Well.....hell! I can't see the ship getting turned around and underway for the next sailing any where near on schedule. Hope NCL Covid procedures prove me wrong.

Yes. Bring your own. And they're pretty inexpensive. And you can check easily several times a day. You'll be surprised on how it varies.

Test.......happened to me a few weeks ago. Lasted for about 3 days. Don't know why.

The Jewel class Haven is just not all that great I don’t think. Not like the Haven on the big ships. My opinion. Nothing really dedicated to the Haven guests other than the small courtyard.

Those Pearl, and the Jewel class ship mini suite (Club Balcony), and suites bathroom tubs were a product of an era when guests were much smaller...and even then the tubs were pretty small. Much like the chairs throughout the ships being replaced with larger ones not long before the Covid shutdown, those tubs probably would not accommodate many of the guests any more. And, to even shower you had step over the very tall edges of them to enter. I always wondered how many people fell getting in and out. They just weren't a very good design idea.

The size of these mega ships and the distance from one point to the next can be lengthy. To chase down food from a kitchen far away would take up many minutes of a waiters time. I would say no just for that reason.

Do you remember what night Six is performed?

Yes it is, now the question might be will there be a cruise to have the option to wear the mask on.....seems like this virus will never be gone.
That's what I'm worried about. All back to total lock down again? Sure hope not.

Thanks for the testing walk through. We'll be doing it soon.

That used to be the free give away bottle. I noticed last cruise it had ben removed from the complementary wine list.

And the Covid world is apparently rapidly changing again. Who knows in a few weeks...or so.

NCL's marketing is generally the same offers month after month, year after year, and all of them usually say the offer is ending that day. Also, if you get on their mailing list, you will get a slick sale brochure usually 2 or 3 times a week.
-
At 21 days, they give you the video to watch and let you finish the check in process. You Edocs should be ready in a day or two after that. Yea. the process has changed from pre Covid.

When you can, where drop off for porters, and then where for testing, and how far back to boarding. We’re like old. Thanks.

Hurry! More!!! We'll be on the Bliss in a few weeks, and from South Bay Los Angeles originally.

I think it was that way 2 years ago for the crab cake. . My wife likes them. I just paid the difference.

Have filled out all our check in information and it states completed but edocs are "not ready". Not sure what is going on with that. We were given 11-11:30 slot - wish it were earlier but it is not bad.
As for safety in the French Quarter - we always stay on the well lit, main streets.
Hope they have their testing process smoothed out by the time our cruise is ready.Edocs take from 24 to 48 hours to be ready after you complete all of the check in stuff, including the sign up for virus testing.

Eurofins is indeed back on line. I did the check-in. It changed my arrival time from what I selected. got on chat. Chat showed my original time still. Also, couldn't register my wife with same email as mine. But registered her as add on. Worked fine and we are both signed up now. Chat says my original sign on time will be on my edocs. Hoe NCL IT gets al this screwed up stuff eventually corrected. Pity the poor folks who do not monitor Cruise Critic.

All of the above for me today. However, by doing what another suggested, reverifying my email address and phone number , it then accepted everything and gave me a green check. They have something screwed up. And for the Eurofins, keep needing a non existent code and also get timed out.

Of all the airports that suck, I've had some of the worst delays at LAX. I've arrived at the SWA terminal to find a line out the terminal door and down the street. Then after check in, finally then having to check you own baggage in a separate spot. But then...out the door again to get in a long security line that goes down the street. You just don't know about that place. And others have mentioned the street traffic. So it's kinda like, "do you feel lucky".

Which may be over in Maderno's instead. But yes, specialty breakfast and lunch. That's from one week before cruise shut down. Assume it's the same again.

Basically, a stupid and confusing memo. As mentioned, it says you must have a test no sooner than 2 days before departure. What...like 3 weeks is ok? And then, assuming they meant to say the test must be within 2 days of departure, crazy also. How in the hell can most guests get a test and then results within 2 days...and those days could be weekend only. Get it together NCL!

My wife and I wish to always eat alone. Nothing personal about other guests, but just time for the two of us.

Since this is nothing but people guessing, and your guess is just as good as theirs, I'll toss mine in and say no, the vaccination requirement will not be cancelled. But just a guess.

Will just have to wait and see how this mask thing goes. I’m scheduled next week. I absolutely cannot do a cruise with masks. They bother me just to much. Each have their tolerance I guess. Guess I’m out the bucks then if this comes to pass. Have insurance but it won’t cover this I assume. What a mess.
