  1. On a lighter note... Hmmm. Something is wrong with this render, or they're really upping the game on Wonder of the Seas with TWO ziplines! And one of them gives you a really good view of the inside of the Windjammer when you get to the end... The close-up is from this image from RCI's press center.

  3. Although there still appears to be some sailings bookable for December 2022, time will tell what the future of the Wonder of the Seas will be. We will have to wait and see what decisions Royal Caribbean makes with this great ship.
  4. So it looks like Wonder of the Seas is getting a playground afterall. 😁 "Wonder Playscape – Joining the lineup of next-level thrills for kids, the underwater-themed play area is a whole new adventure with slides, climbing walls, games, an interactive mural activated by touch and puzzles that will make them wonder if any playground will ever be the same."
  5. Just read on the Royal Caribbean Blog... Instead of being based in China, Wonder of the Seas will call Fort Lauderdale, Florida home, and begin sailing from Port Everglades on March 4, 2022. Wonder of the Seas will sail from Fort Lauderdale just in time for spring break in 2022 and in Europe, sail from Barcelona for summer vacations in the Western Mediterranean in May.
  6. I said the same about the Solarium roof as seen from outside, but it looks less bubble wrap-ish from inside.
  7. The company Carousel Works did indeed go bankrupt. No carousel yet(?), but the base & railing that goes around it is there.
  8. The view from the suite restaurant at the aft end of the suite neighbourhood includes a close-up view of the zipline landing pad. 🙂
  9. December apparently. Other progress... Celebration bow section taking shape.
  10. Seeing the French flag on the stern of the ship for the first time. 🇨🇵 📷 Christian Plagué
  11. More photos from during the ship's sea trials. Jonny Giovanni's?
  12. Apparently this is a crash stop test. Not exciting like a 180° turn unfortunately. 🎥 Marcus alandermarkus_1629981071411847.mp4
