I am sure the answer can be found somewhere so forgive me please, but what area of the ship was removed to put in the Atlas Bar?  Are there any other significant differences between the Onward and the other ships?

Library on the other 3 is Atlas Bar on Onward (who have a library area in the Living Room)

minimal differences...I have noticed that the stage & DJ Booth in Living Room can be in different areas on the different ships. Mosaic Cafe may be on opposite side and still some Princess and temporary furniture on Onward...proper stuff delayed (well had not made it by December)

  2. it may depend on the port and your scheduled time. You may find yourself having to wait about in/outside the terminal. Earliest slot is 2pm, I have done a few trips this year and when in hotel night before have had hotel store bags whilst go tour/have lunch before heading to port for 2pm...a couple of times shuttle times have had me arriving about 1:30pm then had to wait for checkin (some ports more comfortable than others for waiting)

Sometimes I have seen posts on social from people complaining about the waiting facilities when they have chosen to turn up far too early. The guidance on the documentation is not to arrive outside your time slot

It looks like based on the list they are all cruises in '23 and no '24,,,is that correct?

nothing showing other than 100% supplement after September 2023...I expect reductions will appear as the cruises get closer (actually surprised to see 25% supplements as far out as August currently)

  4. ...and on looking today (have some credit that expires soon so trying to plan what to use it on) it appears that the reduced supplement is now on all cabin types (at least on the ones I have been checking)...ever changing

  5. my research was via a US agent site (not allowed to name) it allows you to search solo prices and has a column with the % supplement.

note the verandas and suites all appear to now have 100% supplement irrespective of any offers

here is updated table for 2023 (previously just looked till end June...note % in red have dropped from 50% to 25% supplement (on insides and outsides) Some Quest cruises added now too

  6. looks like lowest is now 50% uplift. Some of the previous 25% supplement trips are now 100% - wonder if the are limited numbers available for reduced supplement

Had 6 wonderful solo trips in the last year all 25% uplift verandas....looks like that is a thing of the past and nothing booked for 2023

The website says the only exceptions are transatlantic crossings and cruises LESS than 7 nights, so yours should have one, but they maybe haven’t got it planned yet.

as mentioned here (and in other posts) the documentation has not been updated

    April and December

they had not restarted in April. Some ships started in November (although I was on Journey end November and it was onboard) Was your December cruise on Journey that was delayed in Lisbon due to port pilot strike? (due to leave 29th November but left early hours 1st December?) and had missed ports? -was the event planned for one of the missed ports?

Seems to me it's now occurring everywhere, except on trans-Atlantics.  That's pretty "consistent."

on my March Onward cruise in Canary Islands it appears to be an onboard event (listed as Destination Celebration)

Is it very difficult nowadays to obtain an Indian visa?

e-visas were suspended previously (pandemic) and were only reintroduced for UK passport holders in the last 3-4 weeks (after the cruise referenced). In person appointments were scarce and I assume for many too far in the future.

  12. I have researched (for personal bookings) the solo supplements and it does appear that some are starting to be loaded for nexr few months - nothing showing for Quest and only a few at 25% supplement and others at 50%

    hope this helps someone

Not everyone in a suite who has complimentary Speciality restaurant access , uses it every night. On our first suite booking earlier this year we ate 6 nights in Speciality  and 5 in main dinning room. Our choice entirely , although we had already paid for speciality in our fare , the food was excellent in both venues and we liked the variety.

agreed...personally not sure I would want to do speciality every night...I like to mix it up with Windows (I always do Indian night) Patio (when open) and Discoveries. Having just returned from a 10 night cruise in CC I chose to only book one night in Prime C and one in Aqualina. (leaving more bookings for others and not having too many fixed dining times) Did 2 Aqualina breakfasts but Windows rest of time.

It was £800 per cabin, not pp!

as a comparison, on my upcoming cruise (10 nights) I can bid for an upgrade from V1 balcony to Owners Suite...starting bid (weak!) £2,580pp

Club Continent Suite bids started at £350pp

Wow, quite aggressive prices! But then it may not look so bad in dollars to our American cousins, compared to our rather meagre exchange rate...

agreed - and 18% service added on top....however for those with loads of OBC to use or lose it is a nice option (have heard those that have used spas have had great experiences)

Perhaps the expiry is based on the date a Ravenna cruise ended, which in our case was Oct 22.

My two were both for June cruises so that would make sense (one took 2 months to arrive, the other took three months)
