Just off th Horizon yesterday.  IMAX is $12.95 but $9.95 for seniors.  We saw First Man and Bohemian Rhapsody.  Bring a sweater!

Thanks!  Are they the reclining seats or regular theatre seats?

You can't add it prior to your cruise. Once you get to the terminal you can add it, or add it at a kiosk/guest services once you board. You also don't need to preload it anywhere. You can wait until the last day of your cruise to pay off your balance with it. It doesn't matter if it's used at the beginning or end.

If you're just itching to use it now, you can buy cruise cash but it's use it or lose it, unless you cash out at the casino.

It's only for $9, so I'd rather not have to worry about bringing it with me and adding it later.  If I buy cruise cash, does it go directly onto my S&S?

  3. We're cruising on the Horizon in a little less than 2 weeks.  So excited!  I booked the steakhouse and the Hibachi place, but there is no record of this on my carnival cruise manager.  What are other people's experiences with the reservation system?  Should I print out the confirmation emails and bring them with us?

  4. I think that $800 is crazy. I too would use it toward another cruise and go twice. not cruise once every 2 years

We don't have the opportunity to cruise that often. Our kids are 2 and 4 and this vacation is pretty much it for a long time. Grandma is watching them for us for this vacation, but she still works full time too so it's really hard to coordinate a vacation. I don't mind paying extra for this one vacation if it's going to be worth it.

  5. To upgrade from a regular interior to a Havana interior is going to be $800. It's obviously pricey, but we love the pool and hot tubs and think that having a limited amount of people will hugely impact our cruise for the better. There are 3 cabins left in this category for our Nov cruise. Would you gamble and wait and see if it goes down? Is it more likely that the price will go up? Am I insane for considering to pay $800 for this? Our travel agent thinks I am...

  6. Just to give a sense, there have been 4 sales I made note of in the lead-up to our cruise on Navigator this month: January, Memorial Day, July 4th, the current "back to school" sale. My sister said that the soda package wasn't discounted during any of those, but the Deluxe and Refreshment packages were.

Thanks. What is the actual sale on the packages right now? I don't have access to the cruise planner at the moment.

  7. The gift cards are very much worth the 10% you save. We used a few on our most recent cruise (Dream in June). Combined with our OBC from our TA and the fact that we pre-purchased all our shore excursions and drink packages, it was the first time ever we've walked off the boat owing $0. In fact, I used the casino cash-out "trick" late on the last night and pocketed $200.

How do I actually use them though? Do we still need a credit card on file for our Sail and Sign?
