As someone who has cruised before I would think you would have looked at your sail and sign cards to see where you were sitting for dinner.
Guest services can help with anything. If not direct you to someone who can.
Sorry your cruise did not meet your expectations.
We have sailed on the Sensation six times and never had any problems at all. Some of our best cruises have been on her.
I hope your next cruise goes better.
I think 99% of people would have assumed that they would be sitting together. You know what happens when you assume! :) Regardless, if we would have checked, we still would have waited in the very long line at the matitre d because of Carnival's mistake.

No, I didn't address it on the ship. I just hate to be 'that guy' complaining, and feel like a letter would be more effective. I will keep that in mind in the future.
Our issues weren't big or anything too serious, but lots of little things. Our dining room service wasn't good at all. My husband and I were actually seated at two different tables, and received an eye roll when we asked to sit together.
Our server was very slow and had zero personality. We were just getting our main meal when everyone else around us was already finished with our dessert. I probably wouldn't have cared as much if I didn't have outstanding dining room service on previous cruises. I was looking forward to interacting with our server, and that just didn't happen.
We also found that beer bottles and ash trays were just left around on the pool and hot tub much longer than on previous cruises.

We just returned from the Carnival Sensation. It wasn't a bad cruise, but was definitely the worst we've been on. I would like to complain and inform someone about some of the issues we had so that they can improve. What is the most appropriate way to do this?

Thanks again for the quick and helpful responses! We are using the Carnival transfer service.

Okay thanks! One more question. We land at 10am at MCO. I've read it's about an hour drive to the port. What time do you think we'll get on the boat?

We are only bringing carry on suitcases with us. Do these still go to the porters to arrive in our room later, or can we carry them on with us and go directly to our room?

Thanks for the replies everyone. In case anyone is sitting at the edge of their seat for an update, they did honor it. I received a $40 credit (price went down $20/person), but did not receive an additional 10%.

I booked Super Saver.

I booked my cruise earlier today, and it is $10 cheaper now. If I call will they do anything or am I SOL?
-
If this is the name on the booking.
OP, how long have you been married? Is your passport still valid? If so you should be fine with the 3 items you have.
I have been married 3.5 years. My passport is still valid. I think I am all set with my enhanced, but I will bring my passport and marriage certificate just in case. Thanks!

Given your time frame, I'd definitely call to check. My other thought is that you could fill out the passenger information with the name on your passport.

Thanks, would I just call the general Carnival number?

We are 99% sure we are going to book a very last minute cruise for this upcoming Sunday. I cannot find my birth certificate. I have my passport in my maiden name, and marriage certificate. I also have an enhanced license. Are these documents okay or should we not book? Thanks!
Enhanced Driver's License

I just used my enhanced license. The TSA lady was kind of an idiot and didn't know what it was and told me I couldn't board. I told her the Carnival website states an enhanced license is enough and then she said oh I didn't know this was enhanced, and let me through. I'm not going to lie, I was freaking out for a minute!
