Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. This is welcome news! Hope Norwegian updates its policy to coincide with Bermuda’s change. It would lift a big unknown / stressor to not worry about testing positive just before the sailing. I suppose the only remaining stressor will be how to trim back on packing! 😁
  2. How can you tell if the OBC is refundable or not?
  3. How do you know if the OBC is refundable or not? Can you see it tagged differently on your onboard account? Do you to go to Guest Services to find out?
  4. Hi all, looking for recommendations on where I can go on my own (meaning without a boat or excursion) for snorkeling? Interested in places that have a lot of fish / coral / other sea creatures (but not jellyfish!!). Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi, just wanted to share that I’ve been quite impressed by customer service so far with NCL. I’ve cruised many, many times on Royal, but am about four months out from my first one on NCL. NCL’s responsiveness has made a good impression in two ways as compared to Royal: 1) They seem to stay on top of their call center staffing! I’ve called a few times and the wait was only 10 minutes — and, they offer the option to call you back when you’re next in queue! 2) I submitted a special needs form about some dietary restrictions (food allergies), and was prepared to wait days or weeks for it to be noted on my reservation. It was done and communicated to me within 15 minutes! Wow, go NCL!
  6. Hi all, I’m pre-booking some dining for an upcoming sailing on NCL Joy. I only seem to be able to make one reservation for Manhattan Room. Is that the protocol…. That I need to make reservations for the other evenings once onboard? Thanks in advance!
  7. Hi all, Wondering if anybody has experienced a rebound / improvement with the NCL ships running out of alcohol?
  8. Hi all, is it true that there is no limit on the number of wine bottles that I can bring onboard? Seems ever more tempting now that I am hearing about some shortages of liquor onboard. Also, when they mention a $15 corkage fee, is that charged only if they open the bottle for you at a restaurant? In other words, if I open it myself and drink it in my room or pour myself a glass to take to dinner, there would be no way to charge me a corking fee, right? Finally, does the wine need to be carried on (rather than being checked with a porter)? Has anyone had problems bringing several bottles onboard in NY (MCT)? Thanks!!
