  1. Cruise documents indicate that I may have to pay a single supplement on top of forfeiting the second persons fare if the second person cancels last minute. Has anyone ever heard of that actually happening? I paid for the entire cruise for both people currently booked, but am concerned the other person may not be able to go lat the last minute. No chance of taking someone else. Will be extremely upset if I end up paying essentially 3 full fares for a double cabin.

Please reassure me that RCI won't do that!

  2. Looking at booking a cruise with my husband and son for Dec out of San Juan with my son, age 12, going free. If we remove our son from the reservation later, will our costs for the cruise go up? I'd love to just go with my husband. Finding someone to watch a child with autism for a week can be a challenge for us though. Don't want to miss this 3/4 guest goes free sale in case he comes with us.

  3. My boyfriend has never been on a cruise and is not really a water person (a little overweight and doesn't think he looks good in a swimsuit and doesn't know how to swim...but willing to use a lifevest to snorkle). We're taking Allure 20-27 July and will hit St Thomas 23 July. I really want him to experience St John. He's not afraid of the water at all. Looking for some recommendations. Cost really isn't the issue although I'd like to stay below $300-400 if possible as we have other cruise stops. I've done St John and snorkeled at Trunk Bay. Want to do something special as a surprise for him. Any suggestions on folks who will pick us up from Crown Bay, take us to St John for the day? Just two of us.

I am totally open to any other suggestions on how to make this a nice romantic day.
