With GGG are you able to pick your cabin or is it like guaranteed booking? Do you go through cruiseline only or can you go through your TA to get any additional perks?

I have only booked within 90 days from cruise, once with Celebrity. I am considering doing it next summer for Alaskan cruise. For those who have used this sale to book, what was your experience? Pros/cons/helpful tips?

I have seen some YouTube videos of balcony cabins. They all seem to have bed next to the closet. Is this the same in every balcony cabin? Or do you just have to know what to look for to get a cabin with the bed by the balcony?

When I pull up internet/soda packages in my planner, it has a little blue perfect day Coco Cay icon. Will there be internet & freestyle machines on the island?

Following along as I am looking forward to first time to the ABC islands in Jan! Happy Cruising!

I always thought if they offered other than 8*10 sizes they might sell more....how many of those can you actually frame/display? And the ones on the dock, unless you have a very informal game room at your home, would you frame them & put them in a tv/living room?

Just found new video
Pool is done.
Wow, that looks like they have made progress!

I submitted mine. Are they still retaking them? Or how would I know if mine was accepted?

ALWAYS ask if anyone from the Roll Call has organized an activity and would like the microphone to make an announcement. Ask if anyone, for any reason, needs to make an announcement.
And yes, insist on an identification by Cruise Critic screen name. I find it mildly annoying when all of the prizes are won by people who say, "Huh? What's that?" when asked.
Some AMs will give a prize to the person who starts the Roll Call or who contributes the most to the Roll Call. Most Roll Calls have a person like this.
A certain AM used to give an extra prize to the person whose CC screen name she liked best. 😉
Yes, these are wonderful suggestions! I think anything that gets people in person to participate in person like they do online is great! And sometimes the person saying Huh? is the spouse who has not been online & is happily clueless about the M&M The best one that I ever went to was really hosted by M&M participant! They had a cabin crawl that followed it and as a newbie at the time I really appreciated being able to SEE different room types.
But BEST advice was “ignore the grumbles”
I have stopped signing up just because of 1)no info or wrong info given on invite 2)hard to find those that I connected with online at the M&M

I participated in a live review of our Navigator 9-night ABC cruise this past November so you will find some info and pics in that. The ABC stuff starts about halfway through.
Awesome, this is very helpful!

Thank you, I enjoyed it!

Yes, only one person books, but the clamshell is for up to two.
Thanks, that is great! When I tried to book it, I kept being asked for two names. But when I put two then it charged me double! Glad I kept at it & that it finally accepted just a single name!

The clamshells are for two people, but only one needs to book. When you get to Coco take your ticket to the printed location and they'll have wristbands for both of you there.
Wow, seriously?

i have booked a clamshell lounger for one. If my husband wants to join me, how do I add him? Can that be done on the CC day? If so, where would he go to get the wrist band?

Have you tried looking under Caribbean Ports of Call? I've found a lot of port specific information there.

I have looked there but specifically enjoy reading the reviews. I wish they had a section just for “live” and detailed review w/photos post.

I am having a hard time finding ABC island reviews. Are there any out there?

Thanks so much! First time I have heard of this!

Where is the peek a boo bridge?

Thanks all, this is helpful info! I do not know if my nephew has ever tried it, so getting sushi to go is probably best for them. lol, if my nephew does not care for it, I know my son will happily polish it off in his own.

My son likes Sushi. Last Cruise I booked the class, so he could enjoy it without the rest of us tolerating a sushi meal. Could he get Sushi from Izumi to go? If so, how is the pricing? Is it per roll/per person? I am just trying to figure out how he can get his sushi fix on his own.

We did order food. It was good and speedy.
Flavio is the one who waits on you.
He's always checking on you and easy to wave down when needed. We paid cash in US dollars so I don't know about credit cards.
Bathrooms are brand new and clean. I don't have a picture of those. I do have the menu if you're interested.
That looks yummy! And yes, if you have the menus that would help!

It's been a couple of years since I did this zipline, but I didn't think it was too extreme. The only thing that was a little scary is that some of the lines require you to take a big step off the platform and it looks like you'll just fall. It's not bad because you quickly stop going down...just makes you think twice before you actually step off. The guides provide a safety briefing before leaving the check in area and they were very safety conscious throughout the trip.
By the way, how did you find out they were open again? We were just in St. Thomas in early Dec and was told they were still closed and it wasn't offered as a Carnival excursion. Several years ago when I contacted the zip line company directly, I was told that I needed to go through the Carnival excursion because of their contract and couldn't DIY myself via a taxi. Don't know if that's changed though.
Hope this helps!
They came up on my TA search & one of the reviews was just a couple weeks old, so back open! 🙂

My tip would be if you go to the WindJammer, go outside all the way at the back for a nice place to eat & get out of the boarding day hustle & bustle. 🙂
