I have an Airbnb in the Smoky Mountains. The minute North Carolina opened up I was swamped with bookings and still am through the end of December. Trust me, people are antsy and want to get out there. When the cruise lines open they will also be swamped with bookings. If you can catch a deal right now go for it because they will be asking top dollar.

I had only put down $200.00 on a Mardi Gras cruise. If I hang in there I'll get a $600.00 onboard credit. I'm not giving up. I don't think this industry will survive until we get a vaccine but it will happen. We will survive this. What does bother me are other people affected. How in the world are the people who live on those Caribbean Islands making it? They are almost 100% dependent on tourism, mostly cruises. I can't imagine the poverty. It's such a shame.

I'm going on the Carnival Mardi Gras come hell or high water. I can't wait. Really getting antsy here to get on a cruise. -
Is the November 14th inauguration date still on? Does anyone know? I have not been able to find any recent information.

Just returned from Magic. Time for break from Carnival?

It's possible some of the entertainment bailed because they didn't want to risk catching the Coronavirus. I know I would have. -
The stock will go up the minute we see light at the end of the tunnel. Right now we are entering the tunnel.

I took a cruise on February 2nd when people were just starting to get a bit nervous. Boy have things changed in the last month. I would never take a cruise now. I have one booked in December and hope the dust settles by then. What a shame for the cruise industry. I wonder how they will survive, and also how many cruise employees will lose their jobs.

I've been a platinum member for years. After spending close to 40K on cruises I can't wait to get my plate of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to my cabin. ( Sarcasm). They should do better.

I avoid cruising in March and April because of Spring Break. Tampa port is wonderful. Not the madhouse that Miami is. -
I'm leaving Sunday on a cruise out of Tampa and am not worried, however as time goes by and it gets worse I might get nervous. Everyone cruising soon should expect this email. GUEST HEALTH ADVISORY - CORONAVIRUS January 30, 2020

How many days until your next Carnival Cruise?

It will be my fourth time on the ship. It's my favorite because of the kooky decor. And I live an hour south of Tampa and that makes everything so easy. -

3. Leaving on the Legend on Superbowl Sunday. Should be a fun experience.
