Another Vote for http://www.tidalborerafting.com in Nova Scotia if the schedule allows.
Since St John is on the Bay of Fundy, there are many opportunities already posted to see the tides :)

We have the same type of room, the pull down upper bed and the sofa that can be slept on.
Does the sofa stay the same size and the bedding added to it? Leaving the floor space to walk?
Thanks

Enjoyed your review very much! Loved your pics and detailed information to go along with them.
Glad to see the cabin set up for 4.
Thanks for your review :)

No, but I would like to know.
I would too. I also have it on mine.
I emailed my TA so when I hear back I will post, unless someone does before I do

We did the Oasis Boardwalk Balcony in Jan. Deck 8, 2nd stateroom from the end #8327.
Although reviews said it was loud we were very excited, we like to people watch and thought the noise wouldn't bother us.
We had an excellent view of the aqua show and the water off the aft of the ship....but rarely used the balcony as it was incredibly loud!
Inside the room the noise didn't bother us at all.

Cruise refund covers the cruise, the $500 covers legitimate expenses incurred... phone, missed time from work etc.
The future cruise is the only thing I would consider extra. This of course probably wont be used by many of the passengers.
So, I'm thinking the cruise refund, $500, an additional $1000, and slap on a future cruise cert :)

I have read the same reviews but I thought we would still take our snorkel gear to labadee. Never used it :(
We were at Nellies Beach and the water visibility was not great inside the roped off areas.
We also are not experienced snorkelers but do enjoy a cpl times a year while we are in a cruise port.
Side note, the water & beach was nice to swim :)

Paradise Beach
Im guessing the water in minimum of 5' ish for the inflatables that are closet to shore and gets deeper from there.
No you dont need to purchase the wrist band to swim in that area and near the inflatables. They are quick to notice someone ON the inflatables without a wristband ;)

Havnt been there but its a popular place for the crew to go.......as per our stateroom attendant and dining room server.......RCL Oasis

Been to Cozumel twice, 1st time Paradise Beach, 2nd time Chankanaab.
I think the amenities are nicer at Paradise and its only $2, but not really any snorkelling. I swam with my snorkel gear on, seen a few fish is all

We stayed there Jan 2 & 3, 2014 pre cruise. ( Full Ocean View Room in the Tower ) We really liked it.
Nice to be able to get out and walk around the marina, the beach, lots of restaurants also within walking distance with sidewalk patios over looking the beach.
No idea about the walk to the opening to where the cruise ships sail
Yes, the do have laundry, ground floor, outside entrance ......seen it on one of our walks :D

I have a budget reservation after our cruise from FLL airport to Lake Buena Vista.
Is it easy to get to the FLL airport location or should I change it to the following:
PORT EVERGLADES CRUISE SHUTTLE
1515B SE 17TH ST CAUSEWAY
FT.LAUDERDALE, FL 33316 US
Location code EV3
Thanks

I never recieved an email, but after reading this thought I should check our flowrider lessons.
Oasis Jan 4th, 2014 sailing
The reservation is not showing anymore and there is no option of booking online anymore :(
Disappointed as our excursion in Cozumel was also mass cancelled awhile back.
( also learned about that on these boards too )

My dh had this surgery, three small incisions. Recovered fully ahead of schedule. If your dw follows the avg pattern of recovery she should be fine to cruise by 12 weeks.......just no stunts :)

Quick question. Isn't it ultimately the passengers responsibility to check deck plans to see how many persons could sleep comfortably in a cabin? Just wondering why the OP wasn't more proactive? When I call my TA I have a copy of the deck plans in front of me.
Im obsessed with my vacation and dwell over every aspect of the cruise.
Now on the other hand if my dh was in charge of booking the cruise, thats all that would be done......cruise booked...job over!

The Cantilevered Whirlpools on deck 15 forward outside of the Solarium.....
are these for adults only? are they open in the evenings?
Thanks
-
I prefer to dine with the people I cruise with, my family.

I didnt see this thread earlier when I called RCL about my excursion that wasnt listed on my reservation anymore.
I was told it was a mass cancellation and an email went out Sept 26th at 4:03pm. Reason unknown
Very disappointed :(
Isla Pasion by Twister Jan 9th, 2014
(currently not offered privately only by cruise lines)
** I then went online to look at the excursions and noticed new ones added and old ones gone

I second Downsized's sentiment on the Jungle cruise.
If anyone wants a small, intimitate, first class operation, post on here and I'll give you a referral.
I would like that referral too please :)

We were going to do this but the taxi driver said you had to pre-book, wasnt worth it or something.
Anyways, he dropped us off next door ( public beach ), restaurant, beverages etc. We could look over to tiki, a couple people from our group walked over ( along the beach ) and said we had the much better beach for swimming!
I just want to add the water is amazing for swimming/snorkeling :)

I question the unfortunate use of valuable space. Why does a bathroom need those windows?
(OP: Thanks for the chuckle and for the pics. )
Agree :D
Ebola making a difference in your next cruise?
