  1. It will be interesting come Halloween time to see all these costumes with masks 😷🤪
  2. I have to admit I like any of the Joe Farcus atriums as they tend to be an open atrium soaring up high. I like the glass covered atriums on Fantasy Class ships. The newer ship atriums feel too crowded and closed in.
  3. Now might be a good time to buy at $14.57 per share....... haven't been this low for a while.
  4. Okay and what if it keeps getting delayed at the shipyard and not ready in February? You think Carnival will wait for Mardi Gras if the USA is ready to sail in February? I doubt it. They will end up using their newest ship Panorama to make money off it. The lucrative Caribbean itineraries.
  5. I've crossed the new locks on NCL Bliss and I feel like I didn't get enough. I want to cruise on a smaller ship and go through the old locks just so I can say I experienced both. I am also really interested in seeing the "mules" at work in the old locks which the new locks don't have.
  6. That's subject to change given the circumstances we are going through. With Panorama being the newest in the fleet, I wouldn't doubt if they temporarily move it to Florida to attract the Florida market which can offer an array of itineraries not just strictly Mexican Riviera like in the West Coast.
  7. Honestly I don’t know why some of you are shocked about these cancellations. It was bound to happen. Best advice don’t book any cruises for 2020 as you will just be disappointed
  8. Being that we are already in July and with COVID not under control and numbers keep rising here in the US, it's a very very very high possibility that there will be no cruises for the rest of the year. Mexico is not doing too good with their COVID numbers either.
  9. Don't need to know for a fact, the numbers speak for itself. 😉
  10. Good to be hopeful but being that we are already in July and there's no progress at all with controlling COVID here in the U.S., sorry to say there will be no sailings in September from any cruise line.
  11. If one this is for sure is that the Mardi Gras is not sailing this year. Too much going on right now. I have a feeling the Mardi Gras will be delayed.
  12. My first ever Holland America cruise was in 2017 . I was only 33 years old. What targeted me or attracted me was the very unique itinerary. So it's not necessarily just meant for the older more subdue type. Yes of course the ship was dead by 9PM and I expected that going in. It was a 22 day port intensive itinerary so I did not mind the short nights.
  13. No way I would waste my vacation time (i only get 2 weeks right now) on a cruise to no where. I'll pass I don't like "staycations" for this reason either. I want to use my vacation time on something exciting!!!
