  1. Spanish guests definitely in the majority. In fact C&A numbers are 112 D, 44 D+, and only 3 P.!!!

Symphony interports so some guests board in Rome. Rome boarders have orange sea pass cards.

The Cruise compass does not say Day 1 , Day 2 .... but just the day of the week.

Muster was strange. Standing in Cafe Promenade with a James Bond type spy spoof about safety on a very little screen.

First night dinner was in 150CP. Not busy at all.

Then the 1977 ice show... no idea what the story was, but some spectacular skating and costume changes. And drones.

After that the balloon drop.. 7000 balloons [emoji324]... a cocktail in Jazz which is a wonderful comfy cosy space. And that was the end of day 1!

  2. This should be pretty up to date. You can order via the phone or through your TV. The menu list is in the folder in your stateroom.

  3. The system lets you join prior to your first azamara cruise. You can then apply for a cabin upgrade straight away. Even for your first cruise.

  4. We had an amazing time of Connie we stayed in a SS and throughly enjoyed it. Michaels club staff were a dedicated bunch and couldn’t do enough for everyone.

Luminea served some awesome food and again service was first class. Russel the maitre D was wonderful as was Eliza, could not fault anyone at all. Great service

Second leg was in aqua class. Again restaurant served some lovely food and Elvin the sommelier was very very efficient.

We did have a small niggle with the cabin, however guest relations were first class. The communications was superb thank you Michelle!

It was my birthday whilst on board and I was totally spoilt, from wine to birthday cakes thank you everyone.

May I say a big thank you to the pool butlers, who worked so hard in boiling temperatures, I do feel they don’t get the recognition they deserve at times.

Only fault is daytime activities which were the same every day, due to the sea days I think they could have done had more variety. Same dances and same songs daily was to say the least very boring.

  5. Hello,

I was told by RCCL that stockholder OBC can be combined with non OBC promo benefits, eg drinks and or parking, but not with any promo OBC benefit. So I bought Carnival PLC shares.

    Regards,

    Cublet

So! Do you get Celebrity OBC with carnival shares?? One lady told me you do, but I find it hard to believe.

  7. I was looking on the MSC cruise planner today and noticed our drinks package was on and then underneath in RED it has drinks package cancelled. As anyone else encounter this now I won't sleep until I can sort this out with the travel agent, roll on tomorrow morning[emoji33][emoji33][emoji33]

  8. If your ship is departing from the US, you will not be able to drink on the cruise. It doesn't matter if your parents give you permission. It's the law. There are other departure ports which changes the rule.

Your sea pass card will identify you to all bar tenders as to whether you will be permitted alcohol. Also, your picture will be displayed at each bartenders station when he swipes your card *so you have to use your own).

What is Celebrity's Alcohol Policy? The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on Celebrity Cruises ships sailing from North America is 21. The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on Celebrity Cruises ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand is 18. In certain circumstances where local laws permit or require, Celebrity Cruises may modify this policy which may also require parent/guardian request/authorization. Guests may contact Guest Relations or refer to Celebrity Today for specific minimum drinking age information on their cruise vacation.

They are going to the Med and will be able to buy alchol[emoji485][emoji485][emoji485][emoji481][emoji481][emoji481][emoji483][emoji483][emoji483]

  9. Hi all!

Me and 2 of my friends (all 18) along with my parents are booked on Celebrity reflection best of western mediterranian july 10th and are wondering what the nightlife is like, we have researched the drinking policy and me and my friends will be able to drink as long as we have permission from our parents which we do have but are unsure about the nightlife and age groups, we would like to know if as 18 year olds we will fit into the nightlife and have a good time with other people around the same age as us if there is any???

We have sailed on crystal cruises before so we know not to expect much from nightlife as on crystal its mostly dead since the age groups range from 50+ on there

    Thanks!

We took our grand daughter who was 18 last year on the reflection she had a blast. Don't tell mom she was coming back to her cabin around 4am lol she loved every minute of it.

  10. Here we go again! Anyone else have a sky suite with specialty dining included?

Could it be from your travel agent?

We have an S2 and our friends have an S1 and neither of us has been offered specialty dining for an upcoming cruise.

No speciality dining because suite passengers now have their own dining room. May I say we have just come back from a cruise and I so wish I could afford the suite life every time the food and service was superb. Also we enjoyed having a quiet drink in Michaels club too.

  11. Trying to decide between these two ships. I have never done a Celebrity S class. I have done RC Oasis class. Any thoughts from cruisers who can compare these classes?

We have done both classes of ships and although celebrity is my favourite line I adored the oasis class ship. The shows were amazing and there is so much choice, we wanted to try harmony when it was in Europe however the prices were just too high. If you like entertainment I would go for RC.

  12. Took the National Express coach. My biggest problem with it was the waiting room at Heathrow is outdoors. It was about 40 degrees and I allowed plenty of time for us to collect luggage etc when booking coach time. Didn't want to wait 2 hrs for our time so paid extra to upgrade to the next bus in 30 minutes.

All in all I would do a private car service next time.

Costs a lot more around £130.00 compared to £40.00 for coach.

  13. We will be arriving one day before our cruise out of Southampton. Does Celebrity have transfers from London Heathrow to Southampton not on cruise day.

There is national express coaches which will take you from Heathrow to Southampton coach station for around £15 each and it's a short taxi ride to the port maybe £10 at the most hope this helps. The coaches are pretty regular too. carol
