Can't seem to post a link. Just go to Celebrity web site , to onboard experience. Click on stateroom...then suite...then find royal suite and click details. It's in there.

The answer about lunch in Specialty restaurant bothers me. I'm in RS for my Alaska cruise and was looking forward to lunch in speciality.
Here is what I copied off the Celebrity website just now.
Unlimited dining in all specialty restaurants including lunch, dinner, and one Champagne High.
So as per Celebrity we should receive free lunch in Speciality.
-
You will receive everything that comes with the suite. In joy your cruise.

Here is what I found. Not inexpensive but close. Otherwise long term parking at SFO, and take uber or cab to port. Good luck! Have a good trip.

I will be in Royal suite on the Solstice in July, and I'm a little confused. In RS we are given unlimited specialty dinning. It does not say dinner only so we ( my husband and I) were going to go to Tuscan for lunch, I'm I to understand that that would not be the case. That they want an up charge? What dose come with unlimited dinning?
-
I'm going to miss this blog. My cruise is in July on the Solstice and I've never sailed her, so I've been soaking up all the information I could get.

Isn’t is odd that those of us who can only use the main dining room are expected to dress up more than those qualified to use the upper crust restaurants? A bit like making the Downstairs folks dress for dinner on Downton Abbey when it is casual night for the Upstairs folks. Personally, I don’t like to dress up but will never feel uncomfortable when others around me choose to do so.
I don't understand this hatred for suite passengers. They paid extra for this, and not only that what is the difference between suits having there own restaurant and aqua class having Blue? I don't hear people bashing them for having extra perks. It's the same thing.
-
I understand dressing up at night, but what about breakfast and lunch? I'll be sailing to Alaska in Royal suite and will of course bring dresses for dinner but like to be more casual for morning and lunch. And no I would never wear bathing suits or flip flop, but nice shirt and jeans ok?

How do you sign up for a gift exchange? Is it the same as roll call?
-
Wow that's great, congratulations.

There is a Video on YouTube that show how to get there from baggage claim. Watching it made me feel better about taking it.

If you know you have a problem with motion sickness, please take the medicine 2-3 days before and 2-3 days after your trip. That way the medicine has time to be in your system.
I myself don't get sea sick, but I get land sick. I get off the boat and for days after I feel like I'm still on the ocean, and I can't walk straight. It's a horrible feeling.

I am not being snarky but I truly do not understand how people with the budget for a Royal or Penthouse Suite could be concerned with how much laundry they can get done for free.
I can't speak for others, but my trip coming up is a once in a life time trip for my husband and me. My youngest child is non-verbal autistic, and have no one near by to watch her. My parents offered to come to my home (they live in another state) so we can take this trip. My husband and I have not even spent one night without kids in 18 years, so we saved for this trip and I wanted it to be special. That is why I have the Royal suite. And so any thing to save money is helpful.
-
I'm very interested in this thread. My first Celebrity cruise and will be on Solstice Royal suite, and any information would be helpful.

I just don't understand. A while back someone was upset that the Eclipse was not serving lunch.
Celebrity made a statement that all ships were to have breakfast lunch and dinner. This was on 10-2-15.
-
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The ship is reverting back to breakfast, lunch and dinner immediately.
Thank you for letting us know.
-
Wow, wonder what took so long?

Is there an extra charge for Mast Grill, like Bistro on 5?
