I've been to Mr Sanchos before (love it) and will be there again in a few weeks. :) Wondering about the excursions they have there (sold separately by separate vendors). Has anyone been on snorkeling excursion from there? I'd like to try it but am also a little uncomfortable about it since it's a separate vendor. (They come around and nicely ask if anyone wants to purchase. Then you take a boat and go snorkeling.) Wondering how long the excursion is, how far you go and if anyone here has done this before (from Mr. Sanchos's vendors).
Thanks!

We booked a non refundable last year for a cruise this month. Worked out well as we are definitely going.
We have an upcoming cruise in December also, but we chose refundable since it’s Christmas time and we knew there’s a possibility we couldn’t keep reservation (will know for sure in September.) can definitely understand why they do it...for people like me who are not 100 percent sure. I get it.

We love lower decks on oasis class. Our favorite is deck 8...Central Park deck.
-
My time dining - we always do this and never have problems, BUT we always reserve our times each night before we get on the cruise.

If we drive to the port (instead of flying), we bring water with us. Always put luggage tags taped to them and they get delivered. Last year we brought two 12 packs of water and only one was delivered. We think another passenger may have swiped it since it just sits in the hallway until we get to the room.

I love those shows! I watch them while getting ready every morning.

Which ship? Many couches in many rooms on newer ships are not sofa beds.
When I go to book a cruise on Royal there are times when the website says there are no cabins for 3 people? If you call to book will that make a difference? Is it because they are already at maximum occupancy? It seems like most rooms sleep 3 to 4 people so I don't understand why there are no cabins. -
We got one last year. Just redeemed my points for $300 onboard credit. Spend $300 onboard? Challenge accepted!

We used to get grand suites but we decided for our family of 4, we like having 2 balcony cabins more (two bathrooms and more privacy). Plus it always costs less money. Once we reached diamond we didn’t miss grand suite perks (lounge etc.). We do miss the Labadee suite section on the beach.

Enjoy your crystal cruise.

Thank you, I was wondering about Princess specifically.
We only did a princess cruise once many years ago and had several issues and never went back. (Boarding issues and dining issues ...this was a long time ago.) we’d be willing to try again but my kids enjoy Royal’s ships and we like the perks we now get with Royal.

When were these canceled cruises scheduled for? Soon ?

Personally if I’m going to be walking around and shopping in port such as in Falmouth where the ship is right there, I don’t see the problem. I wouldn’t go on an excursion without my minor kids though if no other adult was on board. I’m a worrier though

My recommendation is to try Princess or Carnival or NCL.

Last year we had neighbors who had a loud party on their balcony at 2 a.m. it was seriously loud and we couldn’t sleep. Plus they were smoking. We ended up calling security after 30 minutes. Security came into our room to witness the smoking on their balcony. People wouldn’t answer the door. Eventually security went into their room and we could. hear them talking in their balcony about smoking not being allowed (plus the noise).
We have just got of Independence of the seas.It was only a short 3 night cruise so I thought we would try a guarantee balcony cabin. We were allocated a deck 9 mid-ships cabin. Thought we had done alright. It had a connecting door.
On first night at 7pm we were getting ready for dinner when they were trying out the bed. She was very vocal. We turned the telly up.
They came back at 2.15am that night and had a big row. Lots of shouting, and swearing.
We were woke up at 07.30 with the sound of them making up, time for the telly again.
It did get quieter after that but is has certainly put me off getting an adjoining cabin.
Should I have done something and what would you have done.

FYI royal considers an adult to be 21. Our 20 year old is in a room diagonal from ours (we are ocean balcony and she is boardwalk balcony but not directly across. She’s diagonal), and they made us put me in her room (as far as the documents go).
Usually we are directly across hall or connecting rooms.

My first ship too! Baja CA, Mexico, Catalina Island cruise

My kids (teen and College age) love the boardwalk view. They stay in the BW view and my husband and I stay across the hall in an ocean view. They requested another BW view this year. They like to people watch. Once the doors are shut, it’s very quiet. This is our first sailing on harmony and they’re aware their view of the aqua theater will be obstructed.

We loved Mr Sanchos two years ago. We just reserved it again for July. This time around there will be four other ships in port so we are expecting a crowd. (Last time there were only two ships!)
Mr Sanchos is very kid friendly as there are several pools and the aqua park. Food is very good.

Cats- they should pay you $20 to see it, or any other Andrew Lloyd Webber show for that matter.

:'):') Yes!! I couldn’t stand Cats. I wanted to leave at intermission but my husband begged me to stay because he liked it. I love musicals and plays also but didn’t like Cats.
Online check in - errors?
in Royal Caribbean International

Is the RCCL website still having problems for everyone? Trying to start my "online check in" and each time I click on the start check in now button, I get an error message. (Using a Mac and a PC.) Anyone know a way around that? Thanks!
