Ah, :) thanks for the history lesson. All makes sense now.

Thanks! Wonder where the American table menu came from? Maybe to differentiate cruise menus that originate in another country? Dunno.
-
Title says it all . . . If they are different where would you go to have the American table menu?
I'm just a little confused when reading post. Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Good call on the arcade, WiFi and upcharge at the MDR.

Thanks everyone. Her gratuities are already paid. She's just trying to budget. Much appreciate your responses.

This is my sister's 1st cruise and she keeps asking me how much $ she should bring for ship expenditures. I've told her just about everything is covered in the price of the cruise except for:
- Steakhouse
- Casino
- Spa
- Specialty Coffee
- Pop & alcohol
- Dr. Seuss Breakfast
- Pictures
Am I forgetting anything? BTW, we will be on Freedom.
- Steakhouse

Awesome! Thanks SteelersFan!

Could someone could update this thread or provide a link to facebook post once they are posted? Pretty please, with sugar on top? I'm not really a facebook user (infact I'm anti-facebook).

I hear ya, I've been doing Apple Cider Vinegar daily as well. I thought I'd taken some notes on this topic while getting ready for my cruise. I can't find them now. I know someone indicated that you could use ACV pills. You can find them on Amazon.

I booked an Elation cruise for this coming March. We were going to get a balcony no matter what, but I thought the price of $614 pp was too high. I noticed Cabins were slow movers, so I waited and looked every morning to see when they would have their "One Day Sale", and today was the day. Booked a guarantee balcony cabin for $384 pp., a total savings of $460!
Good lawd, what a deal!!!

That sucks! Sorry to hear they cancelled on you. Unfortunately I guess the best option is a cruise excursion. I myself am looking for the best snorkeling option. With all the tendering from the ship and flights/water taxi, better safe than sorry. Oh well.

We had 3 bookings in our family, called Carnival customer service a few days before we sailed when we realized one was not seated with us for dinner, was told it would be taken care of. Then when we boarded, it had not been, so (as instructed) we went to the maitre d' the 1st afternoon, were told by someone with very poor English skills that it would be taken care of. Showed up for dinner the 1st night, and we were still seated separately. I hated having to call the maitre d' over to deal with this amidst all the hustle and bustle, but hey - we tried to take care of it beforehand. So you may have to be pretty inconvenienced and assertive to get this taken care of.
Oh wow, that sounds horrible, especially at each turn where you thought it was taken care of. I'm glad to hear it was eventually taken care of. I will check out the dining room and discuss with the Maitre d' if necessary.

It is easily done by a TA, is it the same TA that booked all 3 rooms?
Sent from my iPad using Forums
Yup, same TA. I've emailed the TA to make sure that we're connected. Thanks.

Hello, I've booked two rooms and my sister booked one. We both booked through a TA. Is there a way for us to verify that our reservations are connected? We want to make sure that we are seated together at dinner.
Through the Carnival site, I was able to add my sister's booking to My Cruise Manager, does that now mean that we are connected?

Just off the Breeze 7-Day cruise to Cozumel, Belize and Roatan.
Here is a link to the MDR menus:

Did you take down the pictures? The link isn't working for me. Thanks.

The Maitre D also was charming and wonderful. I had asked on here if you could still order the indian food 24 hours in advance and was told no since its now on the menu. He said you can still order the meat version 24 hours in advance and offered to do it for me any night, just come ask for him. He came thru the buffet and talked to me at least 3 times. I thought the staff was great.
Its only the vegetarian Indian food you can no longer order 24 hours in advance....so Im putting this up as a correction to info I had gotten before my cruise on another threat.
Hey Firefly, I'd like to hear more about the Indian food and sort of confused. I thought there was a vegetarian Indian food option every night on the menu. Are there other Indian options? What are they? And what's meat is in the meat version? Really curious here. Thanks.

Good point Bengalbug. Two things: 1) I travel periodically for my job, so this would be awesome. 2) My job will pay for the contraption. I get X dollars a year to spend on fitness. And we're quickly coming to the end of this year, I believe I still have $ to burn or lose :)
I plan to primary do swings.

Thanks. I see Carnivals OBC but don't see the TA OBC.

Thanks, tea4ular. Do they have a good selection of free weights? I'm looking for something between 20 - 30 lbs.
-
My cruise isn't until Feb 2018, fully paid and booked through a TA. Is there a way for me to verify that OBC has been applied to my account? I should have OBC from Carnival and OBC from the TA coming. I would just hate to arrive on the ship and find out that I don't have what I'm expecting. Thanks.

Hey MarkMom, which date are you cruising in Feb? We will be on the Freedom Feb 17th! So excited!!!

Hey there, I've been on a kettlebell kick lately and am wondering if Carnival made the investment to update their gyms with kettlebells? I would love to be able to do swings as part of my workout routine. Thanks.

I'm going to give myself an hour. Getting a good spot on the Lido deck to watch for pier runners sounds like fun!

Bumping your question as I now have the same question. Can someone give some information on the ziplining here? Wondering if we should zipline in Roatan. Thanks for any input.
