Not what info you are seeking, but here is some:

 

a) The port is a 10-15 minute taxi ride from FLL airport. Cost should be less than $20 including tip.

 

b) When entering the port via taxi or personal car you will need to show an ID to the guards.

 

c) There are a number of piers at the port and often more than one Princess ship will be there at the same time. Shortly after entering the port, there will be signs indicating which ship is at which pier and what direction it is from where you are.

 

d) Within the port there are no shopping opportunities.

Call the Comfort Suites (the one right near 17th Street) and the Crown Plaza. That time of year you should have a lot available.

 

What time does your flight leave? That is the night of the Winterfest Boat Parade!

Our flight leaves at 8pm.

And there are reasons they always have rooms available. You get what you pay for.

What would you suggest?

We have a 8pm flight Dec 14 for 2 adults & 2 children coming off a 5 day cruise out of Port Everglades.

Tell me more . . . we cruise early December.
