  1. I downloaded the application on my android this morning, 8 hours later, I still can't create an account :( I am not an Allstate driver so when ever I try to create the account I get the "We're Sorry. We're experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." message ugh!

Quick question on the above promo codes . . . each one (provided that they are still valid) will give me points that I could later use?

  2. When we were on the Magic in January we were told they do not have veggie burgers at Guys. She ordered a bun with cheese and filled it at the condiment station

Whoa, what? I thought this was available on all ships, ugh! How about Freedom? Are they available on the Freedom ships?

  3. Hello, I'm planning my private excursions for the following itinerary off the Freedom Feb 2018.

    Cozumel 9am - 5pm

    Belize 8am - 5pm

    Mahogany Bay 8am - 6pm

    • Which ports local time differ from ship time?

    • With Belize being the only tender port (I believe) and WITHOUT FTTF, what's the earliest you think my feet would hit land comfortably without stressing that I'll miss my excursion?
    • Any insight on why this itinerary is called Cozumel Plus when we actually spend more time in the other ports? Sales pitch?

Thanks for any input/guidance you have.

  4. Delta AMEX.... I was able to use the offer last time with the link that was found in this forum. For this go around, I have seen people say that they have talked to someone at AMEX who advised that the offer will be on their card later, or that they can go ahead and make a purchase, and get the $100 credited manually. At this point however, I have not seen any confirmation of the last 2 scenarios taking place.

I would love to know this as well. Thinking of applying for the Delta AMEX card and would love to know if I can still take advantage of this offer.

  5. I realize that the Dream dry docked in 2017 while the Freedom dry docked in 2014. One would assume that the Dream would be in better shape but looking at the reviews it sound like Freedom is the ship in better shape which is confusing. I need help in picking the right ship for us. We are traveling with a couple of families with the youngest kids in the 13-15 age range. The adult age range from 38 - 53. We are looking to cruise mid-Feb 2018, both ships hit Cozumel which was my main requirement. I recognized that one of the families may not do excursions with an interest in saving $$ so it is entirely possible they they may stay on the ship during port days. We will book some number ocean view and balcony rooms.

Hmmm, what else can I tell you . . . hmmm, the reason for this post is I was looking for something/comparison that's more recent after the Dream dry dock to understand if views have changed.

My family has cruised on the Freedom in 2013 and LOVED IT! Really curious if with the Dream it bring bigger would be better??? This will be the other family's 1st cruise ever.

I understand that the Dream has lots to do but also see many reports of overworked staff during dinners as they try to serve all the tables. I also understand that Dream is bigger and holds more cruisers. Ugh, I'm torn. Anyone have any insight they can offer?

    1. As noted in earlier posts, rent a car for the day and that gives you more flexibility for 'on your own' touring and you can leave your luggage in the trunk. Touring ideas can be found at Fort Lauderdale's tourism website: www.sunny.org
    2. I bet Oasis has a program to transfer your luggage (for a fee) to the airport but if your airline does not participate in the program, consider storing your luggage at Bags to Go at the airport (www.bagstogo.net).
    3. If your disembarkation day is a Saturday or Sunday, the Sun Trolley operates out of the airport with a free Sun Trolley route from the airport to the visitors center. Check out details (including pick up stops) at http://www.broward.org/Airport/Trans...unTrolley.aspx. According to the website, at the visitors center you can purchase Fort Lauderdale Excursion passes. "The pass includes admission to museums and historic properties, discounts at restaurants and shops, and all-day passage on the free Sun Trolley."

I know that you probably type this info all the time . . . thanks for typing it again for us. . . for me . . . It's appreciated!
