I'm interested in this as well, me and my wife will be doing our own thing on our upcoming Breeze cruise and would like a decent way to keep in touch.

I have done the tour on Destiny and Liberty, thinking real hard about it for Breeze. I'm sure there isn't much difference but might be cool to see some of the newer technology that has been introduced since the Liberty came out.

We are looking at the main deck on the Breeze. I'd like an interior across the hall for my girls. Now I'm reading about lifeboats overhead and feeling claustrophobic.

 

Any really good cabins in a break, preferably port side, without the lifeboats overhead? I tried looking then saw that there are more lifeboats overhead on deck 4?

On the Breeze rooms 2301,2305,and 2309 don't have lifeboats overhead from what I've been told, I booked 2305 for my upcoming cruise on Breeze, it looks like the balconies on the port side of those don't have lifeboats either. Good luck.

Im nervous about not getting back on time!

The people who run the excursions make their living off of that and if they brought people back late, then they would get lots of bad press abnd lose their business.

I have my first cove coming up on Breeze, normally have an aft balcony so I hope we enjoy the cove.

Have you looked for excursions through an outside vendor? I have only gone through outside vendors for excursions and don't plan on doing any through Carnival in the near future.

I've been called once to upgrade from an 8M to the owners suite. Would've cost more for the upgrade, then I did on the cruise, so I turned it down.

I love the aft balconies, I am trying a cove for the first time, but there is nothing like sitting on your balcony with a drink while watching the wake of the ship behind you. So relaxing.

More and more find them pretty empty. Since a good piano man helps to see booze would think they would want better people in there.

Yes it is, I used to spend all cruise in the piano bar, but on Inspiration, I spent about 10-15 min in there and walked out. Was not impressed by Tom Grable in the slightest.

Wow! Was this with FTTF or Platinum?

I had FTTF, but a friend didn't and he was only 10-15 min behind us.

Today I called Carnival because someone on my sailing was canceling their FTTF. I wanted to know how long it would take to show up online to purchase since our FTTF is sold out.

 

She said it may not be re-sold, depending on the number of people already booked for the cruise. I had her clarify that even though it was sold originally, it may not be opened up again to be sold. Strange.

They might have sold a limited number of them based on the amount of platinum/diamonds that they estimated would be sailing and if more ended up sailing, they might be oversold on the benefits to both groups.

I received this email last year, we were at the port at 10:30, on the ship around 11 and eating at 11:15.

Considering Triumph is among the top 5 Carnival ships, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I know when I was getting ready for my first cruise on Destiny, she started having issues about 6 months before I sailed and eventually had to be taken off the ocean for an emergency dry dock. Bad reviews still plagued the ship, but I loved every moment on it.

Good Luck, we got the Hotel Maya balcony waterview rooms for $119 for our cruise in October, we will stay there again, if we ever return to Long Beach.

I asked a similar question and I found out that Breeze actually has 4 of these balconies. 8468, 8475, 9474, and 9477. At least thats what cruisedeckplans dot com says.Just look at the aft of Vista and verandah deck on the Breeze page

Usually you can't get them after the fact.

I remember John Heald talking about the soda guns for the bars to use, but not the freestyle machines. I would love for them to get either one.

Both CC and Tapatalk seem to be hit and miss lately.

Usually there isn't a way to change the input settings on the TV so it wouldn't work. The suites usually have the capability on the newer ships.

They need to get rid of that ship.OOOLLLDDD.

There are several older ships out there than the Inspiration.
