Being owner by the same company has nothing to do with anything, each brand is different with cost per meal and menu options varying.
I would also say that opinions on food vary widely, but there is an element of you pay for what you get.
I have been cruising for decades and the quality has declined along with the cost of cruising, I was also pretty shocked at how mediocre the food was on Disney which is actually a cruiseline that is premium priced. What used to be standard on cruiselines like Princess are no longer.
On the other hand, cruising is much more affordable with more price points.
I think a lot of what people think is very good no longer works for me. It’s just too subjective to give you a response without knowing what kind of dining you prefer in real life.
I am not a big fan of Britannia but most people on this board are, and who am I to disagree?
