What's the difference? Made with real sugar instead of corn sugar, like the Mexican Cokes?
Yes, also has different nutritional info.

I just realized, the Luminosa was Aussie Coke the whole way

They have elevator shows?

BTW, remember many (if not most) people feel more easily crowded now days, due to recent social changes.
What once felt normal, now feels crowded.
So "feeling crowded" is very subjective.

I am curious on a few things.....what kind of beers? Did they get rid of all the Australian beers like Carlton and Carlton Dry?
What news is now on the TV? (Ch 22 & 23). Was BBC UK and Sky News Australia
Is the wifi based in the US now or still in Australia? Open a map and ask it to locate you....where does it think you are? Was Sydney, AUS.
Are they still selling the Australian spirits in the gift shop? One was Bunderberg Rum and another was Starward Single Malt, for example. Chips/crisps were Aussie brand too.....Deli Rock or something like that.
Thanks.

I was able to get a regular Coke at Luminosa's
Is the punch a pre-packaged drink or an actual bartender mixed drink?

Great thread, thanks for taking us along on the ride.
Honestly, it was my pleasure. It was fun for me. Kept me and my mind busy looking for things to share, and my primary intent was information on Luminosa, because there seemed so little available. Every video was some glowing review from an Aussie influencer/free ride....Bahhh....I want something substantial.
So, I dug around a lot and it was fun.

I was "Aw, no sweat" until you said LGA
LOL
But still, with over 2 hours, yeah, no sweat.
Go online and find a map of the airport. Find out what gates your flights usually use....if you want to be super nerdy, find out what gates your EXACT flights use daily on something like flightaware .com, you just type in your flight number for yesterday and it'll tell you which gate was used. Do that for a few days and you'll see the pattern. Do your in bound and out bound. Then you can have a very good idea of where, how and how far you'll need to move in 2 hours.
You can do it.
I have faith in you

It's not like a mall on Black Friday, but is like a good mall on a busy day.
If you plan well in the Hub App and don't plan to camp in the best sunning spots or care about the round beds, you can survive with minimal frustrations.
If you think you can get your way all the time and have what you want at your beck and call, you will be a very unhappy cruiser.

I booked the Luminosa for Sep 2024 when it goes back to Australia from Seattle because the price was good. I'm still up in the air about whether or not I should do this cruise because it has so many sea days (17).
Do it.
Still a trip of a lifetime

They did a terrific job. Once they got off in Tahiti, the next naturalist onboard seemed to be a bit on the spectrum and not a professional speaker,
Yes, the two younger ones were awesome, the second guy? I couldn't take his Ben Stein "Bueller, Bueller" style of stammering.

Notice to future Luminosa travelers, if the breakfast menu has "Aussie Bacon," it's not some special delicacy, it's leftovers.
Just sayin'
LOL

Like many downtown areas, Seattle's downtown has a lot of homeless and seriously sketchy looking folks.
The Pikes Market area shuts down at sundown.
I am WILDLY jealous of that market area for local residents. Yeah, sure, fresh fish and seafood, but also a couple damn nice looking butchers, spice shops, a Sur la Table store, tons of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Guys fries are generic…here’s proof!

brainfart
Frozen fries are actually better. To properly get the crunchy snap everyone likes, the raw fries have to be soaked and rinsed to get rid of starch, then be "par fried" of partially fried in high temp oil, only for a few seconds, and then cooled, then fried one final time at service.
Very time killing as well as space killing.
That's what they do before freezing, then they only need one quick fry out of the freezer bag at service.
Raw potato fries can also be very inconsistent which is another issue.
